Van promoted to Col Van

LT Syntax passed mIRC 1 at 100%
LT Syntax flew TC-XWA #13 with 2 high scores!

LT Garces flew Free-XWA #10 for the comp

Major Astin joined us from the reserves, bringing our membership upto 9!

I've only had 3 submissions for the Ranger Comp. LTs Syntax and Garces, and mine. I was hoping for a better turn out. Lets try to get a few more submissions. You have until Monday. (Please don't leave it until the last moment.)

I will be going on leave as of Monday. Although I don't know exactly when I'll be able to return, it shouldn't be any more than two weeks. I will be able to respond to mails once in a while, but not enough to run the Squad. Therefore I have talked with Col Van, and he will take on the responsibilities of Acting CMDR for the tiem I'm gone. Unfortunatly, he will also be going on leave for a period while I'm gone. During that time, Van has recommended that Maj Astin take over. I don't expect any problems, but if there are, let me know, and I'll do my best to correct them.
