Tornado Squadron Report #13 - 28th April 2001


Welcome to another issue of the weekly Tornado report...and Mr TAC is still on the email list until we see physical evidence of a shrine :P

Oh you guys might want to know that some Psi bums are claiming that "Anytime, Baby" is their phrase. I offered to kick their asses, but LC Ford Prefect declined :P ...perhaps another time >:)

Fleet News

Science Officer, Fleet Admiral Kermee has announced his resignation. He will stay on until a replacement can be found, but it will be a shame to see him go...he's one of the few SCOs that has done a great job and made the most of his position :)

A new Commodore of the DGN Lichtor V has been chosen as Rear Admiral Oldham! Congrats to this old Wing X-er :)

The Wing Commander positions in Wing IX (ISD Relentless) and Wing XIII (ISD Grey Wolf) are both open...though I find it hard to believe that Ricaud is going to find anyone willing to server under him on the Rel :P

XO/SA Kawolski has announced Executive Order #0003: "Until the TIE Corps section of the EH Database is complete, name changes for any pilot that isn't a Cadet must be approved by the Executive Officer. Send name change requests to the Executive Officer (absurefire@aol.com) and CC the Flight Officer (spellfire@btinternet.com) along with a detailed explanation as to why you want to change your name."

IO/FA AbsoluteK has set up a Team EH Counter Strike Server, which is located at 24.156.241.193 (default port)! Remember that you'll need the latest versions of Half-Life and Counter-Strike to play on it. Whenever you're in #Emperor's_Hammer, you can type "!HL Hammersfist.net" (without quotations) to see what map is running and how many players are currently in there.

Challenge News

Not much, actually...:P

Inferno squadron is taking on Spear squadron of the ISD Relentless...hopefully they'll lay down the smack on Quake's Clone's squadron (and one of COM/RA Ricaud's) :P

Colonel Callista has transferred from Typhoon squadron out to Gamma squadron, Wing I, SSSD Sovereign. No comment :P

Squadron News

Well, we're a full squadron once more, and the roster is pretty much settled. Well, I say settled, there's one more transfer pending, which will take us up to 5 Colonels! :P

The Tornado website should have it's ASP-ified web pages soon...watch this space!

Not wanting to disclose any sensitive information to our competitors...I'm not going to :P

Suffice it to say, the deadline is tommorrow...and any TFRs (improved scores, late entries) must be sent to me by then at the latest.

I'd like to hold off any more squadron vs squadron competitions until the end of the Squadron League, when I'm sure we can show other squadrons what we're made of >:)
