Introduction
Eleven pilots!!! Eleven pilots!!! It's hard to believe that Phantom Squadron only had 4 pilots when I first joined (only two of which were active), and now we are the largest squadron on the ISD Immortal by a long way. It must be because of my Wing III roots (the Immortal's XWA rival), because if you have a look at their roster they recently had an influx of new pilots, filling most of there squadrons up.
While I'm happy for my old wing, and most of the officers who I'm still good friends with, it's not looking too good for the Immortal right now. We still have the best pilots and officers in the fleet, there just doesn't seem to be enough of us compared to the other wings in the fleet. Even the ASF is recruiting better than us right now!!!
So while Phantom are near full, please try and do some recruiting for the ISD Immortal and it's other squadrons. Post on the recruitment board about how great our ship is, make contact with the cadets on Daedalus and offer them help (which is a nice thing to do if you recruit them or not...I've helped quite a few officers who have went to other places), get your friends to join the EH and anything else you can think of to get the roster numbers up.
And while your at it, keep active. Cadets are only interested in active wings, so get flying those missions, making stuff for the newsletters and taking part in the competitions that are beginning (there should be another XWA league soon, as well as smaller ones for our squadron).
LT Rachella joins Phantom Squadron
Please welcome our newest pilot to Phantom Squadron. Rachella has already proven to be a great officer by flying, passing IWATS course, completing an INPR, and plenty of other stuff. There is only one thing better than getting a new recruit, and that is getting an active new recruit.

New Avenger CMDR appointed

Colonel E. Tarkin who has been promoted to the position of Avenger
Squadron Commander.
Tarkin is a veteran of the Squadron, and there are high hopes that under his
command, the Squadron can be built back to be truly Elite.
Orders
- You still have some time to improve your XWA8 scores for the Demon competition. I know I have!
- If you want to play multiplayer XWA, then get stuck into either Imp Storm II or the XWA WoW.
- Attend IRC as often as possible. Remember that as well as #emperor's_hammer and #tiecorps, there is also an #ISD_Immortal room. If you need any help getting on IRC and using mIRC (or whatever) mail me.
- Post on the Phantom Message Board more often. It can be found in the Squadron Forums on http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/
- Recruit!!! If I can do it, ANYONE can!!!
- Give me some BSFs to do. If there are
any missions you haven't flown, then get flying. If you've completed them
already, then why not go for the highscores as they may be useful in a
future competition.
