Hey. I'm doing the 10th report for you so far and I sob from time to time. The reason is simple: this is my last squadron report. I'm gonna step down as your CMDR. Yes. I have no choice - I am forced to leave for nearly 2 months. I tried to change this, but it didn't work out - both RA Khadgar and MAJ Azazel are aware of my plans, as well as some of CMDRs and you - my great pilots.
I don't want to make a scene out of this. New squadron CMDR will be...
CMDR/CM DarkC/Tartarus (currently FL/LT DarkC).
I will step down to FM position 1-2. Christina will lead our squadron to new, better future. I know I can count on her - always. You'll be in good hands. Though this might sound a bit weird, but she'll hold her position as CMDR for only July and August - because we agreed that I will take you over when I get back (If you'll want me to).

RECRUITMENT
My policy has changed. When I get back to you after my leave, I want 11 pilots ready for anything. So I want 3 new, good recruits! We need to be a full squadron. However: be advised: I want only TOP GUNs! Our goal is to become a fully-pro squadron that would be able to keep up with the Crusaders!! So recruit... but wisely.

NEWS
CA:XO is sought. Whoever wants to help our great XO might be interested in applying. I thought somebody will eventually apply, but it doesn't seem so.
The ASF has been getting full lately. That is why VA Cyric decided to ask for a new star destroyer. The request has been approved, so expect it being opened soon.
Odin Squadron reopens! They need FLs and FMs. You can help them with recruitment if you want to.

Captain Wulsert looked at the enemy war ships. He knew that they won’t be able to win this battle. But they had to stop them for some time. Officers on the bridge were waiting for orders.
“Falcon One, this is captain Wulsert. Disable the freighters, the capture team is ready, they can be there any minute.” He said to the communicator “Oh right, people, we’ll hold them back untill those freighters are safe. “ he peeped at his XO. “Varent, course thirty degrees to the left. Let’s see how strong shields strike cruisers have”
“Yes, sir!”
The mighty star destroyer moved towards Zarachs fleet. Marter stared at the VSD.
“They really wanna fight? Fine, launch all the fighters!” he laughed.
“Hey, Boss! More Imps! An Interdictor at ten kilometers.” Nalt Larest said. He was commanding the strike cruiser Marters Smile. “They’re launching some TIEs”
“What a fuck is an INT doing here?! ” Zarach had to think and that wasn’t his strongest ability. “Just like they wanted to stop us right here…”
Commander Tomaas Rewet rolled his Interceptor and pulled the trigger. A Z-95 fell into pieces.
“This is Three. I’ve got one on my tail. Enybody could help? ” Rewet saw one of his wingmen having trouble with an old X-Wing. “Three, I’m coming!” he said.
“Never mind, he’s out of the game” lieutenant Willer , Eagle Three moved his Interceptor in a fast turn looking for another target. It wasn’t difficult to find one.
“Flight Two, help the Falcons. Flight One, Three come with me.” commander Rewet said.” Let’s take care of those Y-Wings. They want to attack our beloved star destroyer.”
“Yes, sir!” sounded.
“Eagle One, need a little help?” Rewet heard a voice. It wasn’t anyone from his Squad, but he knew who was speaking. He saw a wave of Gunboats firing missiles at enemy fighters. Five Z-95s vanished in explosions, as well as four R-41s.
“Hey bro! Good to see you here” Rewet smiled. He looked at the INT which just arrived and fighters, which still poured out of its hangar.” Well, your help might be useful. “ A TIE fighter crumbled under his fire.
“Great! But expect something more to come… soon”
The STRKC identified as Marters Smile was in firing range. Star destroyers turbolasers started their deadly game. The shields of the enemy ship lit up with hits. Marters Smile hit back. A minute later DREAD Vengence was in range too. Red and green laser blasts crossed the space between the huge ships.
“Concentrate fire on the strike cruiser! If we have to, we’ll destroy them by turns.” captain Wulsert stood on the bridge. The look of the Vengence didn’t make him happy, but he wasn’t showing it.
“Sir, freighters disabled! They’re waiting for the transports!” the Comm Officer informed.
“Fine, tell the capture team to start their action” Robter Wulsert sighed ”Let’s show them that they should regret ever seeing a star destroyer. Arm all warhead lauchers.”
“Zarach the shields are down and…” a scream was heard and the bridge of Marters Smile disappeared in a explosion. A few more torpedoes hit the hull and the STRKC broke in two pieces.
“Call the rest of the fleet! They will pay for it! “Marter Zarach glared at the VSD. He was furious. He raised his communicator ”Fire everything you’ve got, Grander!”
The second strike cruiser, Kessels Run, came up, with fear, a little closer. It looked like it’s commander didn’t want to do anything stupid. Grander saw what happened with Larests ship. He ordered to concentrate fire on destroyers shield generators.
“Hey, people! Would you mind making an escort for us? “
Rewet grinned. “Flight Two, you heard the man! Without us they won’t capture anything.” Salvous from his laser cannons teared up Y-Wings engine. It turned and hit another one. Both fighters formed fireball.
“Eagle one! Six Y-Wings got through. They’re firing torpedoes.” Tomaas sweared and rolled his fighter to the left. “Get them!” he shouted.
“As soon as possible!”
Rewet saw four Gunboats firing missiles. Three enemy Y-Wings were destroyed but the rest managed to empty their warhead launchers. Torpedoes flew towards the Basilisk. It was to much for it’s shieds. Being under fire of a DREAD and a STRKC was hard enough for them to hold. Last three torpedoes got through and hit the hull.
“This is Four! I’m hit…” the Interceptor fell into pieces. The commander went after the X-Wing which killed his wingman. Soon it was gone. Suddenly, he saw a frigate coming out of nowhere right in front of him. Rewet luckily passed it’s main comm antenna. One Guboat from Falcon wasn’t lucky enough. The fighter hit the shield generator destroying it completely. Other two frigates exited hyperspace not far away.
“More bad guys! Great!” voice of lieutenant Willer wasn’t very happy.
“Wraith One, Maller! Have you got some spare torpedoes?” Rewet asked.
“My second flight has. I’m sending them to finish of the frigate.”
Four TIE Bombers fired their warheads. The ship didn’t even have time to launch fighters. Torpedoes exploded hitting the hull and the frigate was soon only a bunch of space debris.
“Sir, next three turbolaser batteries are destroyed… and the hyperdrive is damaged.” Varent said
“The transports?”
“The freighters are captured. In few minutes they will be ready for the jump.”
“Very well. We must hold on. “ Wulsert felt a bump.
“Sir… Two enemy frigates in range”
VSD Basilisk was under fire of two FRGs, a STRKC and a DREAD… Wulsert knew it was soon going to be the end. None of the enemy fighters was able to even get closer to the star destroyer thanks to the Eagles and Falcons. But they didn’t have to. Huge breaches appeared in the hull. Fires seemed to be everywhere.
“Sir, a transmition from the INT Jane.” The Comm Officer said.
“Robter, get out of here! I’ll try to cover you…”
“NO. Stay were you are. You can’t do anything.” captain Wulsert disconnected. He new what he had to do. He raised the commlink. “All crew abandon ship. This is an order.”
“But sir! “ Varent was shocked.
“You to, Varent… I’m staying. I have to do something.” Wulsert smiled. He looked around… Nobody moved.
“Sir… If you’re staying, we’re all staying too.”
“No need of that… But I will need someone to help me… “ Wulsert sighed. “ Koller, Jaret, Malore…”
“Yes, sir!”
“The rest of you – get outta here. Now!”
“What do you want to do?”
“We’ll pound at the Drednaught” Wulsert looked in Varents eyes “Don’t worry we’ll manage to escape. At least I hope so.”
Hundreds of escape pods left the dying star destroyer. Marter Zarach had a triumphant grin on his face.
“Yea! We showed them!” he laughed. VSD Basilisk turned and moved with the full power of it’s damaged engines… And suddenly Zarach reaized what was going to happen. The deck of the DREAD Vengence didn’t seem to be a safe place now. “Get out his way!!! Now!!! They want to hit us!!”
Captain Wulsert looked as the Drednaught tried to make evasive manoeuvres.
“Course two degrees to the right” he said. When he was sure they won’t miss the Vengence he added “ I think it’s about time to leave…”
Last few escape pods flew away from the VSD as the star destroyer was closing to the enemy ship. The enevitable collision was soon going to end it’s last heroic act… after a long and honourable life. Pilots of fighters, members of the crew noticed one last craft leaving the hangar. And then hell started. Two ships formed a spreading fireball, as bright as the sun of Abal system. It swallowed the damaged strike cruiser, which lost its shields under attacks of imperial fighters.Then the spectacular firework show ended… Last enemy frigate was moving as fast as it could to leave the system. But the Interdictor did it’s job well. Fighters attacked it with a new strengh… The pilots were really pissed off. Lieutenant commander Varent looked at the remains of the explosion.
“Lieutenant Malore?” he said
“Yes, sir?”
“Did captain Wulsert leave the Basilisk with you?”
“No, sir… He stayed ”
Varent looked at the debris again “No…”
Commander Tomaas Rewet shot down last enemy Y-Wing. His squadron lost five good pilots. Suddenly he saw a ship exiting hyperspace. An Imperial class star destroyer. But they came to late. Then he noticed one TIE Advanced. It looked damaged. He knitted his eyebrows. Neither Basilisk nor Jane carried Advanced… He oppened his eyes widly. It was captains private fighter!
“Hello boys. Missed me?” he heard in the speakers.
“Captain?” he grinned.
“It’s sure me. Thank God that Advanced has got shields!”

“Admiral…” captain Wulsert was standing in attention.
“Well captain, we should have informed you about the whole situation. What happened was also our fault. We had problems with the hypedrive on our ISD and we weren’t able to be there faster… And we lost a star destroyer.”
Robter sighed. His VSD was supposed to be only a decoy to lure Zarachs fleet. But things went a little different. Fortunately most of the crew survived.
“I must say, captain I was really impressed with what you did there. When we came we didn’t have to do very much. That’s not only my opinion. By the decision of the High Command you’re promoted to Rear Admiral. You’ll get a ISD under your command as well as a small task force. “ he smiled “ We need such officers.”
Darem Zarach sat in his room. He had tears in his eyes.
“WHY? Why it had to be him?! Those fucken Imperials never know what they are doing… They wanted to get a pirate and the killed my father… He was a simple man… He helped people. “ Darem stared at the wall of his room. He raised his head. “ Whoever did it, he will pay for it. I promise dad. Not now, maybe not in ten years, but I’ll get him. And I’ll look as he falls.”

Marcus Miller played the bass as a kid and was already a pro when he was 14 - so who is he now? A master. Each of his albums is better than the previous one, same here. The tracks contained on the album are perfect for a date or for the car. BTW: He's coming to do a world-wide tour soon, try to get tickets now! You won't be sorry...

PSI Tournament [ACCEPTED]
All ten squadrons are divided into three pools, each with four squadrons in a pool. A short (preferably 4-mission battle) will be assigned for the first round of competition. Each pool will fly the same battle, and after a 10-day period, the winners will be announced. The top squadron in each pool will automatically advance to the next round, as well as the overall top two
scoring squadrons who did not finish first in their pool, leaving five total squadrons the survivors. In the next round, a Free-TIE will be played, with each squadron being given a week to fly it. The three squadrons with the highest score in that round will advance to the championship round, where a longer (probably six mission-long) battle will be issued, with ten days to fly it. The top-scoring squadron from the final round is then proclaimed the winner, with appropriate bragging rights issued. Additionally, the aggregate top-scoring pilot from each of the final three squadrons will receive an Iron Star - Silver Wings.
Scoring will be measured by a highest total laserless scoring method. Though averages are a popular method in multiple squadron comps, Ford feels that a simple highest total method encourages participation, so that members of each squadron who aren't quite as good as their comrades don't worry about pulling the squadron's average down, and are free to participate and chip in as their
skills allow.
You'll also note that each squadron invited is of fairly small size - 6 to 8 pilots per squadron, usually. The reasons for this are two-fold: first, so that not doing the competition by averages wouldn't have a very great effect upon some of the smaller squadrons, and secondly, to give some of the smaller units a chance to shine. In most fleet-wide competitions, it's the 10 +
member squadrons who get the glory, while smaller units are left in the dust. Not in this competition, however.
Additionally, as to allay any fears that Ford running the competition will give Psi Squadron an advantage, CA:FO Havoc will assist with the mission selection and judging.
OUR MISSION IS TC-TIE#121. Some of you have flown it, some haven't. But it's not very long until the end of round I, so try, pilots, try goddamnit!
