Ok people, this is your CMDR reporting. Yes, this was a good week! We strenghtened ourselves. Say a warm hello, if you already haven't, to 2 green pilots who joined us! Those are SL Nick Chi'Cath and SL Brian! I trust they'll help us in our quest for citations. However, I would like to them to join the family as well - this means have fun and support each other. True TTs rely on each other in 100%.


RECRUITMENT

I want new pilots! My wishes were heard and we have 2 more, but another two would do fine. Pilots. Talk to your friends. Ask your neighbor. Try to recruit. Again, I will give awards for any productive and active pilot that will join because of you. So try hard.

NEWS

1. We have 2 new pilots! Cheers!
2. MAJ Azazel is the new Wing Commander! Jeee-ha! We hope he will uphold the honor and traditions of our mighty Wolf Pack. He seems to be the right guy for this kind of work.
3. LT DarkC had proven herself the one. With this, she took command of the Flight II. Good work, Cris!

FICTION

Not today. In fact, I'm working on a large fiction project and I don't want to spoil the waiting. However, I'll try to finish the first part before the next issue. By the way: why aren't you writing anything? Submit something! I shouldn't be the only writer in here.

MEDALS

Well... we haven't proven active enough, I guess. However, I know that our cute flightleader had many problems with her monitor but she managed to keep flying. Great job, if this keeps up the medal will come. I just want to see some more work.

PROMOTIONS

We have a position promotion. LT DarkC appointed FL!!! Yeah! This means that she'll buys the beer this time.


TOPIC: CITATIONS

Yeah, the topic tells everything. We had 4 citations not very long ago. The new pilots came and... we have no citations again. Well, I'd like to remind you all that a squadron citation shows those "outside people" that we're an active squadron. Because we care for them.
In my previous weekly report I have wrote that our goal is to have at least 25 citations by the end of May. Well, this really could be done easily. You see, I've noticed that most of us have TIE Fighter. Since we own it, we have an occasion to show that we fly. That's why I hereby make TIE battles our priority for this month.
As for assignments: start from the beginning. This means TC-TIE#1. I've already flown it and I tell you that it has no bugs. After you do it, go for #2. And so, and so... I'd really be happy if you fly TC-TIE#1-25. All of those seem relatively easy and I think it might be a good thing to fly them. Not only for the points (for those selfish ones) but mostly for the squadron.
I expect a flow of TC-TIEs this week.

COMPETITIONS

Operation Supremacy
Started by Apr 20. They still fight. They use XvT and XWA. MAJ Death, CMDR of Avenger Squadron is the one to ask. It is a multiplayer competition. We will be proving our mettle against the Valkyries! Give them hard time. All details: http://www.imperialacademy.org/compdetails.asp?ID=488; I expect both DarkC and Leslaw to take part in it. I will try my luck as well if I manage to get online. And maybe you, Nick? You own XWA. You might try. C'mon!! Every joystick counts.

My uniform competition
Simple and sweet. I need a new, good uniform. If I find the uniform nice and comfortable, the author will get an ISM. If not... well, there is always another try, isn't it? In general, I'd like it to be fully official and to bear appropriate markings. I want no crappy-looks.

Graphics and fiction competition
Similar one. We really need some material for the webpage so we could outshine our mates from other squadrons. Have a look at the Crusader webpage I previously did (http://wolfmaster.4t.com) and think if you might get me something that would suit us now? ISM for most creative people. The same applies to the fiction writers. If it's good enough, ISM is yours.

SQUADRON ACTIVITY

I have again saw a stream of activity from some of you and completely nothing from other people. If you want to fly, we're for you. But if you neglect it or want to do something else, there are thousands of way to be productive. Just be honest, ok? Here goes the weekly ATR check:

Tartarus 1-1: CM Tomaas Banys: (that's me!)... Mhmmm... my joystick was still broken, however I did some free missions using "NV Joystick Emulator" for mouse and keyboard. God, it was a horror. But I can tell that I did FREE-TIE#8-13 (05/01/2001 - my only free day during this week). I also began some working on fiction, and I got the new squadron homepage alomst ready. As for other things, I still train CT Vulcan. Boy, will he ever learn how to complete those melees? I don't know. I expect fair results though.
Tartarus 1-2: LT Callousness: Seen him on IRC. Hmm. I'd like more activity, Call. E.g., take part in the competitions! Show us that you care.
Tartarus 1-3: SL Brian: Just joined squadron. I expect a stream of submissions this week, Brian!

Tartarus 2-2: LT DarkC: Ace of the week again! She completed TC-TIE#8-10,12-14 and FREE-TIE#9-11,12,14. She kept in touch with me a lot. If everybody did at least a tenth of what she does, I'd be quite satisfied. Keep up the good work, I'm pleased with your performance again. That's what I expect of a flight leader. Maybe you will get a CoB and I'm sure that your dedication could earn you something more. I wonder. One I know for sure: ISM soon.
Tartarus 2-3: LT Juan Cortes: Nothing this week. man, I don't really know if you exist! You don't reply at e-mails, you don't fly... you have one more week before I declare you out. Do you really want to be AWOL?

Tartarus 3-1: LCM Leslaw: Some holonet transmissions. I was happy to talk to him. He also did TC-XWA#11, but it awaits for processing. I hope that won't take long. Fly something more. Remember, you're a flight leader and the only lieutenant commander here. Prove that you're worth it. Do something.
Tartarus 3-2: SL Nick Chi'Cath: Just joined us. Strange. No contact with that pilot. No reply as for the mail. This puzzles me a bit, but let's wait some more time.

COMMANDER'S OFFICE

Well, today's topic is: LT promotion. Hear me, greenhorns.
The SL to LT promotion is meant for active people. Pilots who show their dedication. However, the administrational requirements are really low. I know of many ways to qualify. Let me remind those to you:
Completing an official EH/TC battle or a free mission;
Submitting a valid INPR;
Taking part in any official multiplayer competition, winning it;
Helping me with the webpage, doing nice graphics and/or writing a piece of fiction;
Recruting people into our squadron;
blah, blah, blah... this means that everything okay and useful to us qualifies for the promotion.
