Flayer Report # 11 (2001-05-16)

Flayer Squadron sitting at a table by themselves were talking about the ever decreasing number of members it has.
LCM Brightsaber chimes in, “Nobody can handle the pressure.”
“Hey, our Commanders tough but, he is good. We get the recognition we deserve,” comments LT Shade.
“Yeah we get out what we put in,” agreed LT Sharpthief.
LT Drosha adds, “What ever we need we get as long as we do as we are ordered.”
At that moment LT Nexus, formally a member of Flayer, SL Bladestar, and LT Shannon Woodcock of Fury squadron head to sit down at a table near Flayer.
LT Shade says, “There’s one now. He challenged me for my job and then didn’t have the guts to hang around.”
“Yeah and now he his talking trash on our message board,” comments Drosha.
“Let’s have some fun,” states Brightsaber as he reaches out with the force and knocks Nexus’ glass of Bantha Milk over onto the table in front of him.
The table of Flayer’s breaks into laughter as the Fury’s members jump up to avoid the sticky substance. The members of Fury soon notice the laughter coming from the Flayers.
“You think that’s funny do you,” screams Nexus, who is know as Frost in the Dark Brotherhood.
A clump of Brightsaber’s mashed Anoat potatoes begins to move as it shoots straight at his face. Brightsaber attempts to move out of the way but, he still gets struck by half of it right in the eye. The rest of the potatoes go flying and hit LCM Cloudblade of Trapper Squadron right in the back of the head. He jumps of and yells, “What the hell was that?”
Before there could be an answer to his question, he and his squadron mates SL Kae and LT Stratgov are diving out of the way of another volley of mashed potatoes and rice pudding. More screams similar to Cloudblade’s can be heard from tables all around. The havoc continues to grow as more and more people get involved in the food fight. Members of Avenger Wing II are using the Force and their hands to fling food around the room. Soon Brightsaber and Nexus are hiding together under a table as the battle rolls on.
Brightsaber wipes some potato off his face and says, “I didn’t mean anything by it I was just trying to loosen these guys up. It has been a pretty tense week.
Nexus replies, “I know. No harm done.”
At that moment SL Dragonkeeper of Slayer yells, “The Commanders are coming!”
Brightsaber and Nexus look at each other and smile. CPT Enahropes Entar, CM Chaos Angel, and CPT Predator walk in the door shoulder to shoulder at that instant. Brightsaber and Nexus jump up on the table they were hiding under and though as much food as they can by hand and by the Force. Globs of mashed potato and pudding hit all three Commanders squarely in the face. The side door to the mess hall opens as two more figures enter.
Nexus and Brightsaber scream simultaneously, “They’re mine!”
As two more globs of food fly towards the newcomers. Before the food even strikes the newcomers a hush falls over the gathered pilots. As the food strikes LC ShadowHawk and GN Tiger. Brightsaber and Nexus look at each other and say, “We’re dead.”

Later that day as Nexus and Brightsaber are on their hands and knees cleaning the mess hall floor with toothbrushes. Nexus looks at Brightsaber and says, “I think we got off easy just having to clean the mess hall with toothbrushes.”
“Yeah especially since they didn’t say who’s we had to use,” replies Brightsaber.
“Yeah I have Chaos Angel’s,” comments Nexus.
Brightsaber laughs and says, “I got Pred’s.”

By the way if Brightsaber thinks that cleaning a mess hall is the worst he is going to get he is wrong (Tiger and ShadowHawk just send me note saying what you want me to do and I will be happy to assist)
Flayer Report #11
This week is going to be one of the most important weeks in the history of Avenger. This week we finally got approval for the opening of the ISD Subjugator and the third wing of Avenger fighter. The roster page is already up for it (looking a bit empty at the moment) and I would like to thank and say big well done to everyone who has made this possible.
On to Flayer news as many of are members are currently being slowly tortured to death in the most painful way (i.e Exams!) activity is down. We do have some news however as we have gained a new member so welcome to LT Sirel Dukat who joins us from training. He spends a lot of time of IRC so go and say hello.
I have also regained my copy of X-Wing Vs TIE Fighter so I will be flying (as I can now get that Silver Star for 1000 points!) And hopefully I can carry us for a bit so we will still have a good chance of keeping the title of Wing Commander’s Own. We still have not got that GFX!!
We still need more members so lets go and get some and together we can take Flayer to new and greater heights!
Umm….I cannot help but notice that no one has taken up my offer being an Acting Commander. Oh well it was worth a try to get a week off: : p This offer is still open so if anyone is interested tell me.
SQUADRON of the Month
Rules and Point System
RULES
**The SoM award will be given out to a single Squadron at the end of each month.
**The Competition will be based on the amount of points a Squadron can generate within each month.
**The Squadron CMDR's will need to list the total amount of points for that week in their Squadron reports. On the last day of the Month the CMDR's are to Submit to me their total amount of points for the month in a seperate email.
Graphics: images, banners, animation, uniforms made "by scratch"= 4
Fiction: Stories, plotlines for missions, etc by the page = 5
Web Page design: "From Scratch" = 20
"Weekly Update" = 10
Mission Design: Per Mission = 25
Dark BrotherHood Related/Submission = 30
Competition Hosting: Only one member from the
Squadron per Comp = 25
IWATS Courses all Courses= 15
Pilot File Submissions: These will be 4 points per mission.
**Any other EH/TC related activity will be at the Wing Commanders discretion.
So this is hopfully how we will keep WC own! The best way to do this is if each of you submit a report on Tuesday or Wednesday and I will add it all up add mine and then we will have are final score.
Comps
Ok last week’s comp’s were won by ……
Flying comp –
Non-Flying – Brightsaber was the only one to compete but I cannot give a medal for one uniform sorry.
This week’s comp’s are …..
Flying comp will be TC-TIE 21
And the non-flying comp will be a pure activity comp using the Squadron of the month points (see above) the one with the most will get the medal however I am going to stop being so soft so from now on I will be doing it as well if you lot cannot beat your aging CMDR then your not getting a medal! Ha ha.
Standing orders
Inform me of all clones (Including DB)
Inform me of all medals and promotions within the DB
Do at least one thing per week – if any pilot fails to do this and does not contact me with a reason they will be classed as AWOL if you are AWOL twice in a month you leave and are put in the reserves
Every month I will contact each of you either via e-mail or live on-line to discuss your progress (Medals, promotions ideas etc.) Failure to respond will result in a pilot being classed as AWOL.
If you do anything which I am not sent an automatic e-mail then write to me yourself! (I can reward if I do not know what you are doing)
If you note that a BSF has not been done with in 36 hours something is wrong! Mail me with the file again as it may have been lost.
If you feel that you deserve a medal or promotion TELL ME! I will never say no what I might say is “ you need to do this… ”
Sending me ideas is considered activity all of them are noted and the really good ones earn rewards you may not feel your idea is much good however I may think it is great SEND THEM TO ME.
And finally and most importantly being Cruel to my goldfish is a court-martial offence and I will have you shot!
Activity Records
CPT Predator –As I said I have got XvT back so I have started flying again.
This week I have flew TC-XvT 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and DB-XvT 1 and
Free XvT 1,2,3,4,5 as well. Also my course has found a second breath and lots of people have done it!(228) I also got a couple of LoC’s
LT. Sirel Dukat- Just joined and has filled out his INPR
LCM Brightsaber – is currently very busy in RL but promises to do all he can (he will be away at the weekend as well) but he has done TC-TIE 69 and the fiction at the top of the page!(20)
LT Drosha Krablaad - Contacted me he is currently having RL pressures and will report in soon
LT Shade – I need something from you bud that is two weeks!
LT Sharpthief – Congrats Sharp you are now FL! He has also finished all of the DB-TIE’s and has claimed his nice and shiny ISM! He has also informed me that DB-TIE 14 is rock hard and he is a great pilot you have been warned. He also completed TIE Tactics at IWATS and he updated the website(75)
SL Mikhail Rheinhardt – Still has not contacted me!!!!
Final Rant!
Well although a lot of the squadron is in the exam room are SoM points are respectable.
Starting next week I will contacting you all again for the monthly reviews. Me and Demos are talking about setting up a training comp for Rage and Flayer, Demos is a truly great pilot (note I am not saying this because he said I was a great Cmdr to a newbie honest!) and I am personally looking forward to getting some tips and improving my skills.
I hope everyone can adapt to the new changes which will happen with the opening of the new ship and enjoy them as well. It is a great time to be on the Avenger.
