Squadron News

-LT Dark Horn is currently AWOL now, waiting for his removal processing. This leave us in a pretty bad shape for Kappa vs Wraith, so we must be on the lookout for a new pilot joining before the deadline, or do our best effort to get high scores. If someone from Daedalus contacts you, let me know inmediately.

-As you surely all know, Jan and I have both been promoted on the Fleet Medical Corps, leaving our positions as Doc and Nurse. Jan went to Chief of Special Ops, and got himself a Modified Task Force Cruiser to fool around er...command :p
I went to Senior Medical Supervisor of the Sovereign. I recently appointed the new Wing II Med staff, so please all of you report to the MedLab for a routine check in the expert hands of Doc Lost and Nurse Crush!! Congrats to both of them and be careful, as Nurse Crush has nice legs and a killer smile, but very masculine hands when it comes to cavity probing :p

-The Sov Top Gun comp results for Round 2 have been released. Congrats to Sin's LCM John Doe and LC Stele Pelleaon, who are Wing II's top Guns and will be competing on the next round. Roasty got the second place on the whole Sovereign, and yet he didn't qualify. Please Nurse Crush, hand me a Prozac ASAP :p

-This week's Ol' Roasty's word o' advice: "Be a Lord of The Rings geek. If you aren't one, you will be forced to read the novelization of Episode I till you get into coma"

-Kappa vs Wraith is ON!!!! GO GO GO GO!!!! Missions to fly are FREE-TIE 152 and Redemption Scenario, both attached. Both MUST be flown on Medium, otherwise they don't count. Laserless is on effect and top scorer get a IS-BW. Deadline is June 22nd. I WANT 100%!!! Imperial pride is at stake!!! TOP OVERALL PRIORITY!!!

-Round 4 of the Inkwolf's Raid comp from LC Stele Pelleaon is ON!! This time featuring Sin, it promises to be a slaughter of Rebels, so feel the fun, take it from your mailbox and fly it. Deadline is June 15th, and an IS-SW is at stake!!

-3 days left to make something to cover the parts when the sun has been hitting-way-too-much-for-what-our-stomachs-can-take on our beloved naked crusader Sov Man! Submissions to Inky.

Miscellaneous


-Wing Commander appointments

Many congratulations to former Chaos CMDR, Colonel Smitrock, who has been appointed as the first Wing Commander for Wing XX.

Also congratulations to Major Jesseb Skyrauch, who takes over from LC Joe as the new Wing Commander for Wing VI.

-New Battles Released

Currently, the battles mentioned in TAC report 17 and the Tactical Addendum have been uploaded to the TIECORPS.ORG and EHNET.ORG mirrors ONLY. Please do not attempt to download these battles from the other mirrors.

Further note: at this time, no battles other than the ones mentioned in the report are on EHNET.org. Once i recover the files from my backup server, this will be corrected.

-FCHG Listings fixed

Finally! The FCHG Listings are using a new system and has been fixed completely! The new system has also cut the loading time of personnel profiles by 1/2 or more. The squadron and wing listings are working as well!

-Flight Office moves

With the recent shutting down of emperorshammer.ca, the Flight Office has moved and can now be found on http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire.

-Message Board time wipe

To conserve some needed space, I'll be purging ALL of the message boards of any messages posted in year 2000.

-EH Bylaw updated

Grand Admiral Ronin has updated the recently added EH Bylaw to broaden the scope to which it applies (including to Subgroups for SGCOMs to use at their discretion):


Leadership positions within the Emperor's Hammer and its Subgroups are integral to the on-line experience of all members and the voluntary application and assumption of such duties is welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated. However, because of the importance of continuity in leadership in maintaining the organization, if a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and then resigns within an inappropriately short time (e.g. less than 6 months for Command Staff positions), the Member may be demoted to the Rank they were before application for the command position.
In particular, the Command Staff Positions require the utmost dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer officers, through their hard work and organization, hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members frivolously applying for and then resigning from these Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank) may be subject to inquiry by the High Court of the Inquisitors for violation of the various rules and regulations of this club. This policy shall be effective for all appointments after July 1, 2001.

The time limit for those Command Staff members, Advisors, Subgroup Commanders, and Command Attaches receiving rank jumps will remain at a six month minimum and will be added to the Training Manual soon.




-New EH Bylaw

With the recent spate of folks, with the best of intentions, applying for and being appointed as Command Staff, then resigning within a short time (<6 months), a NEW Bylaws revision is posted and incorporated herein:

Open Command Staff Positions are typically posted on the Emperor's Hammer Domain Index. All active Members of the club with no violations registered with the High Court of the Inquisitors are free to apply for open these Positions. However, If a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and then resigns in less than 6 months, the Member will be demoted to the Rank they were before application for the command position.
