- On a general note, Ford's very happy with the upswing of overall squadron activity. Way to go, guys!

- If you haven't already, say hi to everyone's favorite new Psi transfer, LCM Nurel Turr! As you'll note in the Squadron Activity section, Turr has wasted no time in getting down to business. LCM Turr joins us from Aylin. No, Alpha. No, Adder. No...Aylin? No. Aleth! That's it. Yeah.
- Once approved by the Flight Office, prepare to give another welcome (his third, in fact :P) to CM Zekk Terrik! Zekk (hopefully) joins us after a stint in the Reserves, general wandering across the fleet, most recently in Slayer Squadron, commanded by ex-Psi man Kerch / Vanik / Quentan / Ru Paul / Khaen. wb, Zekk :P
- Prae comp begins on Monday! Can you take the suspense? :-P If you've looked on the Competition Approval page to see what battle we're flying, then we've pulled a bit of a switch...the battle has been changed from TC-88 to an unspecified one that will be announced on the 15th, the day the comp begins. Ford will officially set up a mailing list (finally :P) on that day and announce the opening of the competition.
Just in case you've spent the last two weeks in total awe of the Oklahoma Sooners' incredible football season and forgotten about everything else, Psi and Sin are taking on Praetorian Squadron in a niftalicious TIE comp. Laserless, averaged scoring will be used, so sharpen them TIE skeelz! Battle is yet to be announced, and a pair of ISMs will go to the first and second top scorers overall. And yes, that is *averaged* scoring, another last-minute change made in the comp due to the recent upswing of Psi and Sin's numbers. Go us! This will also be a chance not only to knock off one of the TC's elite squadrons, but to rub some dirt in the face of some ex-Wing II personnel, RA Calias and CM Carl Lost, both now with Praetorian.
- Now that CPT Astarosta has been appointed wing doc and learned the traditional recruiting tactics of threatening to give random and unprovoked enemas to various personnel, Kappa has surpassed Psi in numbers! Recruit! :P
- Checking out Psi's roster page on TC.org, Ford found we have 6 battle citations. Yay. Should you be in the mood and have some extra time, poke around to see which battles we're close to getting citations for and try to fly them instead of utterly random battles...'cuz citations are cool and stuff. Yeah.
- After his recent attempts to change his TC name to Lord Twinkalicious were rebuffed, the angst and bitterness, in addition to watching too much daytime talk shows, Ford has now decided to change his name, gender and race. Commanding Psi will now be LC Shanaynae, an overweight African-American female. Ford will be occupied for the next week in obtaining a personal relationship with a male, and then cheating on him with his brother. Yeah.

- Be on the alert sometime in February for a Psi Squadron Banner competition to pop up, as Ford's thinking of a change in our official banner (sorry, Sas :P)

- Yes, you heard correctly, evil bot master, aka PikaFSE, aka Kawolski was promoted to Executive Officer following the resignation of SA Compton. K remains Fleet Systems Engineer, though he was demoted to High Admiral for reasons unknown to Ford and or any logic attempting to explain the demotion. Interesting side note: by special dispensation of the Grand Admiral for a long and loyal service as XO, Compton was granted a spot in Omega Squadron as FM and the rank of General: the first FM (after the rank change, that is :P) to hold such an honor.
- Some shake-ups in the CS and SGCOM business...COMM Kumba resigned (no more Kumba-ly goodness. sniffle) and RA Coolguy was appointed in his place. TAC Striker is expected to resign as soon as a replacement is found, and a new MOR is still awaiting appointment following RA Hunter's resignation.
- Undernet is bloody hell, good luck to those attempting to get on :P

Now that New Years has passed by and the fact we are a week into the year 2001, the Logistics Office has come back from the dead and
several setbacks to bring to you many new projects. The biggest of which is to be announced later in the week. Moving on, The LO needs your
help in gathering fiction, graphics, old rosters, INPRs, Personal Histories, Ship Histories, Subgroup Histories, Monumental EH desicions, Wing
Histories, Squadron Histories, Histories of CS officers, old Subgroup manuals, old subgroup webpages, old subgroup commander histories, and
anything else you think can be essential or non essential in helping the Logistics Office in archiving the history of the EH. Eventually after we
collect all this data it will be submitted to the Training Office for placement in the EH Encyclopedia(being compiled by HA Astatine).
