Fleet News
The TAC Office released some new battles this past week, although most were for XWA. One of the EH servers (emperorshammer.org) is being taken down. This may impact our operations, but the TC domain appears to be unaffected. As always, check the TC News page (http://www.tiecorps.org/news.asp) for the latest.

Wing News
The Wing continues on, with Colonel Steve the Cricket Bat making his return to the weekly Wing report. Other squadrons seem to be suffering from the lack of activity that has plagued Spear these past few weeks. Also, some notable figures have returned to the wing, among them our designated awards holder Malaktos.

Squadron News
I’m beginning to feel like a stuck CD here. Spear’s activity continues to drop as summer RL activities take hold. This seems to be affecting the entire Wing now.

“What can I do?” you may ask. “My joystick’s down.” Fine. Try your hand at writing something. Take something from your INPR and flesh it out into a little story. If your joystick works, fly a mission or a battle. Send the .tfr to me and I’ll do the rest. I’d like to see each of you do at least one of the things listed in Spear’s Standing Orders in the coming week. I know I will be.

Spear’s Top Gun contest continues, although so far only one pilot has sent in his .tfr. Another has committed to fly the first mission, but I have yet to hear from the other two. Let’s try to get the first mission done this week, people. I want to be able to send out the second mission by Friday.

If, for any reason, you are unable to fly, report to me and let me know what’s going on.

LCM Ironfist is still looking for material for the squadron’s web site. If you haven’t looked at it, I strongly suggest that you do so. It’s a fine piece of work, and the lieutenant commander is to be highly commended for his fine work on it.
