Greetings all and welcome to another Hey Squadron
report.

*Osan'gar realises that this report is actually on
time for once so he doesn't need to waste this section
by apologising for the reports lateness*

Anyway, moving quickly onto the news.....


SQUADRON NEWS
----------------------------------

- Hey vs Teth competition. I still don't know about
this one. I think what may happen is we will restart
the comp after our CRT due to Teth's involvement in
the Sovereign League. A new mission will be flown so I
want high participation when we refly against Teth.

- A new CRT test will start on Monday and last for a
week. I want 100% participation for this test so we
can get a high level result. Even if you don't have a
lot of time just turn invunerability on and fly the
mission quickly and then send the files to myself and
LC Sequoh Marden. A Golden TIE will be on offer for
the high scorer and if we score well in the test, a
further medal will be available for the high scorer.
I will mail you all when I get the mission to fly
details from Seq.

- New website is nearly ready to be uploaded with new
CGI news posting, a new layout and also loads of
updates to reflect all of the roster changes since it
was last updated.
The ability to post on the CGI news page will only be
given to myself and the two FLs so the news should
always be up to date :)

- Fly in the Sov TopGun competition. You can fly in
both the TIE and XWA catorgaries so try to do well in
both. Only one person from the squadron will go
through to the next round from each platform so make
sure you get a high score.

- Use the mailing list!! Mail anything you want over
this list but make sure you use it so that the whole
squadron knows that you are active.

- LT Ryan Tribal has made a new Flight III homepage at

WING NEWS
----------------------------

- I have just got to HTMLise a few pieces of fiction
and then the Pilot Archive will be uploaded. Remember,
if you have any pieces of work that I haven't got then
please send them to me.

- Congrats to MAJ Jahan Kalar who got promoted this
week. Luckily we haven't had too many Major jokes
since his promotion. Drinks are on Jahan, feel free to
order them on his account, Congrats again Jahan.

- Also promoted this week was CM Yun of Aleth
Squadron, congrats!

- Wing III membership is now at 30 so please start
recruiting. We will never be able to open up some new
squadrons if our numbers don't start to increase.

- LCM Dark Angel resigned as the Wing III Nurse this
week, please don't apply for this position as it will
be filled soon. Sorry to see you go DA and thanks for
all the work you have put in.

- I was appointed the Wing III Intel Liason (or
"friendly" as LCM Josh puts it :P) this week.

Don't worry about any cameras that you may happen to
see around the Wing quarters, I may not be watching

RO/EH Banner Comp

This comp is one of pure graphics. The members will
design a banner for either the Emperor's Hammer or the
RECON Office. The banners must be 400 x 40 pixels
large.

First Place: IS-GR
Second Place: IS-SR
Third Place: IS-BR

Depending on the number of submissions for each
category - EH or RO - will determine if awards are
given for each category.

Sovereign Top Gun Competition

Omega Squadron and the Fleet Medical Corps are
sponsoring a ship-wide competition to determine who
the number one TIE and XWA pilot on the Sov is. All
pilots are encouraged to fly either Free TIE #93 or
Free XWA #17 and turn it into their CMDRs no later
than May 27th. If you have any questions, please
contact General Devin.

This is a great opportunity for you to get some
recognition for yourself, your squadron and your wing
- take advantage of it!

ISD Subjugator opens

Over the past several months the SSD Avenger has grown
dramatically, both in terms of size and activity. This
is undoubtedly due to the hard work of not only the
pilots onboard, but also the Officers. This success
has allowed for a relatively rare event - the opening
of a new ISD and Wing! Both myself, and Vice Admiral
Firefox decided that the time was right to add this
new Ship to the Fleet, so Wing XX and it's parent
ship, the ISD Subjugator have been activated. The
Subjugator, attached to the Avenger, is a Dark
Brotherhood ship - which means that all pilots onboard
are also members of the DB.

MISCELLANEOUS
----------------------------

I went to Outer Rim Night yesterday and despite the
fact that I got beaten by some Rebel Squadrons pilot,
I still had a lot of fun. Remember that if you go to
any of the MP comps listed on the TC page then you
will receive a LoC if you win. These not only provide
a nice shiny addition to your uniform but increase
your FCHG score too.
I know that LT Ryan Tribal already attends OuterRim as
I have seen him there a few times, but if any of the
rest of you can make it or other multi-player events
the I recommend it.


Song of the Week - Deep Down and Dirty by Stereo MCs.

Worst Song of the Week - Get Ur Freak On by Missy
Elliot.

This last song is the biggest pile of rubbish I have
heard in ages and the video is even worse.


Also, announced this week is the next game in the Jedi
Knight Series - Jedi Knight II. I already know that
Josh is very exited about this game (go and read the
Wing III MB for more) and hopefully this will restore
LucasArts as a great games maker.

aching after all this typing :P
