In other news, the long range facility upgrades are finally completed with a new backstop, reinforced pits, reworked 200-1000 meter stations and a brand new 2000 meter station! Those wishing to qualify on the range are required to take the Sniper courses which are, once again, available to all. They are located in IWATS right HERE! The range director would like to remind everyone that qualification and successful completion of SN4 is required for anyone wishing to utilize the new 2000 meter station. Those wishing to squeeze off a few rounds through their slugthrowers can also get assistance in computating Windage, Minute of Angle, etc. from the range director.

In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone who are taking courses and sending in comments and questions in order for the Training Office staff to make improvements. Keep them coming!

Thanks to the work of Zeth Durron we now have a wiki that is protected from bots and most of the damage done to it over the last few years has been repaired. We have also recovered admin access to it so we can now ban and block people from updating it.

Yes, you read that correctly. For his personal initiative, tireless efforts, steadfast dedication and outstanding perfomance of the duties set before him for the Training Office, CA:TO Rear Admiral Tomaas Montte be promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral! Well deserved Montte, Congrats!The second course now available, once again, is Crypto-Analysis located under the Academy of Tactics: Intelligence Division category.
The customary awards (IS, LS, etc.) will be handed out for the first three students to score 100% on the exams.

After a long hiatus, the TAC Office has finally released a new mission. It\'s XvT free 239: The Pirate Supply Base. It\'s part of my Dempsey\'s Quest series, so not for you patch haters...

A new course has just been released. Small Arms, created by CM Tuba. It is located under IWATS under the Technology category.
The customary awards (IS, LS, etc.) will be handed out for the first three students to score 100% on the exam.

Instructor (INST) - Awarded for performing the duties of an instructor for the Imperial University. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the creation of a course, course or exam edits or by being a professor for a particular course.
With the centralization of training I am now able to award this certification to any Emperor\'s Hammer member who has met the requirements. Members who have earned this should watch their inboxes and profiles for this addition. If I miss anyone, please contact me. Thank you for your contributions and commitment to the Training Office!

Due to the treacherous nature of Astatine\'s actions by stealing property of the Emperor\'s Hammer, for his paranoia towards virtually every single member of the EH causing the club to stagnate and for his callous disregard of the precepts put forth by the club founder, Astatine is officially being banned by the Emperor\'s Hammer.
His rank, medals, awards and positions have been stripped, and he will not be allowed to rejoin the Emperors Hammer. Also he has been added to the Emperor\'s Hammer\'s Most Wanted List.
Anyone being contacted by Astatine should immedatly notify the Security Office.

Training has been centralized across the entire Emperor\'s Hammer. Many courses have been relocated to more logical locations and are now available for everyone to take. Take a look under the Training tab to see the changes and for more information. As always, contact the Training Officer with any questions

With the beginning of a new year, the Ace of 2010 competition has finished. Congrats on Zeth, Dunta and Tuba on taking #2, #3 and #4, your medals have been recommended.
I took first myself, but I'm gonna see if I can get all the RtF missions BSFd today and in the coming week to get dumped on last year's stats, as they were flown then and I'd rather not have them on record for this year. It kinda gives the Ace of 2011 competitioon a very wrong start, but we'll see if we can get it.
I'll be looking forward to see who wins Ace of 2011. As every year, we'll be having Ace of the month competitions as well, so keep flying!
