For the first time in History, the Emperor´s Hammer won WoW for the month of the November!!! Something never done by EH. Our first big win in a BSC Comp.
Also of note, all games were played by ASF Pilots and that Avenger Squadron pilot MAJ Ace was our best pilot and placed in an Amazing 3º Place Overall.
Outstanding accomplishments and hopefully we'll see more of this in the future!
Thanks to AD Darksaber for this information

The Emperor's Hammer finished Second out of Ten Clubs participating in this past week's WoW. Avenger Squadron led the way with an overall record of 17 Wins and 3 Losses. Major Girth Snail (8621) led all EH pilots and finished 8th overall with a record of 15 Wins and 2 Losses. This begs the questions, how can a Hutt fit in a Tie Interceptor anyway...

Overview
The Communications Officer (COMM) is responsible for the operation of the EH's communication media, such as IRC, message boards, etc. Maintaining ops and ban lists in primary EH channels is a core duty of this position.

Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Good written communication skills.
2. An acceptable level of online presence in online media such as message boards, IRC, etc.
3. Fast email response time.
4. The ability to work with a wide range of EH personnel.

Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Prior experience in IRC channel management (ie. 400 or higher access)

You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simply saying "Yes, I can do that" will not be enough. Include specific examples of your experience. You should meet at least the essential criteria to be considered for the position. You will be expected to perform the core duties of the position to an acceptable level. You must include at least three (3) references. At least one of these must be a former or current superior, preferably current. Ensure you have their permission first, as your application will be seen in a negative light if you have not gained their permission. A statement regarding the board downtime, as well as board creation request procedures, is located at the main Emperor's Hammer board.

Here we go! Nearly six months after I should've done this, I'm trying to get all the bugs in the SquadFirst+ software worked out. I've set up a bug tracker at http://ortho.minos.net, and I encourage anyone with a bug to post it. Also, if you've fixed my code, please post a bug report with the buggy code and what you changed. In the end I hope to have a good script that won't have to be changed for a while. Please be sure to include all settings information (i.e. roster level and roster type) so I can properly assess the problem.

Last week, the EH Library was completed! The EH Library serves as a place to post your fictions, biographies, and EH histories. All submissions are reviewed individually by a "librarian" working for the Internet Office as well as the Logistics Officer. It is our hope that everyone will at one point make use of this service. Thanks to CPT Drako for his hard work on it! You can find it at http://ehlibrary.minos.net.

EH Census: Update

AD Darknyte

02 December, 2003 23:14
11 ABY

So far I'd like to state that the Logistics Staff has been very pleased with the response we've gotten thusfar from the EH Census project.

With that in mind I'd like to remind everyone that new questions are still being added periodically and that we'd greatly appreciate it if participants could make an effort to try to login at least once per week until the Census has been completed.

This will allow all members to answer questions that have been added since they initially took the Census. Already I know we've added around 10-15 questions in various areas, and more are still coming as support for the Census grows and more officers request questions added.

If anyone knows a question that should be added, please email the Logistics Officer with your questions so we can evaluate and add them as needed.

Again, thank you all for making this project a success!
