It has been several months now my performance as Tactical Officer has been degraded due to a new time-consuming RL job; I guess time has also lessened my enthusiasm to assume the position, with nearly 20 months overall of service as Tactical Officer, and three years and half of full time positions within the Tactical Office. During all these prosperous years, I have participated and directed all the changes I was willing to be done within this office, changes which have transformed an office dependent of the TAC's personality into an organized structure where team work has become a key word. I am proud of what has become the Tactical Office, but I guess it is becoming time to see some fresh blood at the head of this office, assuming also the fact that I can hardly assume the associated work load with my current situation.

I had planned to resign in past September when my new job began, with the eh.net server problem I delayed this decision to wait for the database to be fully operational, to not bring additional mess to an already troubled situation. The BSF system and associated FTP services are nearly fully working, and I will leave my position of Tactical Officer as soon as everything is working, and as soon as you have selected the future Tactical Officer. I do not plan to leave the EH, I guess I will continue my career in a less time-demanding position, where my competences and expertise can help the EH...

TAC-PROF/HA Striker/CS-3/SSSD Sovereign

Congratulations to the newest Flag Officer in the Fleet, Major Frodo, who has been appointed as the new WC for Wing V on the Sov.

Attack of the Clones is now available. You can get it on DVD widescreen, DVD fullscreen or VHS. The DVD is a two-disc set with the usual fluff you get on those sorts of things.

Due some mysterious Problems with the Database, there weren't sent out any confermation Mails about the LoC's for following Comps:

There was a locking issue with the BSF system that was preventing zipped pilot files from being loaded. Preliminary testing shows the problem appears to have been fixed. The TAC staff will be conducting further testing over the weekend. This is pretty much the last major sticking point in the site's functionality and once resolved, the site will go live.

After much delay and anticipation, the Internet Office is finally proud to announce the release of the trailer which serves as a prelude to Hawkeye II: Uprising, the sequel to the popular IO competition. I have decided to appoint former ASF BGCOM, Admiral Cyric, as my Command Attaché. He will be helping me with various administrative duties, but these will NOT include the general upkeep of the TIE Corps rosters. Therefore it is not necessary to CC him on routine Flight Office emails.

Yes, we lost ORW2 this time, cause we didn't participiated in the 1st War,
last week. However from next week on, we are going to rock in this Comp. We got
only the half of the matches of some other clubs, cause this was our 1st time!

Vice Admiral Brakka has retired as COM of the ISD Intrepid. Taking his place is Rear Admiral Wil Striker, the Ship's former Wing Commander. And replacing Striker as WC is Colonel Duncan Idaho. Congratulations to both of these Officers.

Also announcing his resignation as Commodore of the ISD Vanguard is Rear Admiral Ekim. Applications for a new COM are being accepted and should be sent to VA Darksaber and LC Tarkin.
