In the cover of night, in the darkest chambers of Clan Drakonan, robed figures descend into a single room, nothing to light their way except the a small number of flickering candles, carefully distributed to only provide the barest of lighting.

One robed figure stands out, seperate from the rest. They begin to approach each member individually, handing them a datapad and whispering a direction. Slowly, the members begin to sort into one of three circles. Once complete, he pulls back his hood, revealing the face of Stingray Battleteam Leader, Juggernaut Locke Setzer.

"The next part of your journey to the Dark Side begins now! Each of you fit into one of three categories. Some of you have collected the pieces you need for your lightsaber. Some of you have not. Others already carry the blade, and may choose to extend knowledge to those who do not... or serve as a barrier to those they believe to be unworthy. Wherever you are in your quest, you will now make the next step. You have each been given a piece of knowledge, knowledge you need. What you choose to do with that is up to you. You may work together. You may work against each other. You have no chains - whatever you believe will bring you victory, you may do . I make this announcement as your leader, but I too have my own quest, and in this effort, I am your rival, the same as any other member..."

Arts competition! Submit a creative work (fiction is likely the norm, but other creative works may be accepted) based on the premise above. This is intended to help those who have not yet completed the creative work requirements for future ranks. If you have yet to achieve the rank of Stalker (and do not have a previously submitted creative work), this should be about finding the parts you need to assemble a lightsaber. If you have achieved the rank of Stalker (or have already submitted a creative work about finding your lightsaber pieces), this should be about assembling your lightsaber. For those who hold the blade - please submit a piece about your efforts to help (or hinder) other members of Stingray. The choice is yours!

You're more than welcome to collaborate with each other or bounce ideas off one another, but the submitted work must ultimately be your own.

Runs from October 6th - November 3rd (EH Time)
Submissions should be sent directly to me (e-mail at locke.f.setzer@gmail.com or through Discord)
One submission per member (you may replace an existing submission with another, if desired, but you must tell me which to use; otherwise, I'll use the last submitted)
Fiction entries are limited to a word count between 1000 - 6000 words
Non-fiction entries need Battleteam Leader approval (who will consult with the Herald before making any decisions)
No AI derived fiction writing

Top three entries will be awarded a Crescent with Emerald Star, Crescent with Topaz Star, and Crescent with Quartz Star respectively.
