During RtF 2023, each pilot may submit up to 20 memes. Each of those memes will receive RtF points based on the following criteria:

Impression

• 4 points: Submission is memorable
• 2 points: Submission is funny or insightful, but not memorable
• 0 points: Submission makes no impression on the viewer

Creativity

• 6 points: Submission reflects a creative AND EH-related use of the source material
• 3 points: Submission reflects a creative OR EH-related use of the source material
• 1 point: Submission qualifies as a meme, being a re-interpretation of a pre-existing piece of media
• 0 points: Submission doesn’t qualify as a meme. For example, an un-altered game screenshot.

Re-Use of Templates

• 0 points: This is the submitter’s first use of the source material
• -2 points: Submitter has used the source material before
• -4 points: Submitter has used the source material multiple times before

Notes:

• Minimum points awarded for each submission is 0, we won’t be taking points away from pilots
• "Source material" above refers to a unique meme template, screenshot, etc. For example, you can pull multiple screenshots from an individual movie and not take a deduction for that, but multiple uses of the same screenshot would incur a deduction.
