Commodore HA Dempsey reporting
Report ID: H.AD.002
Report date: February 15, 2015
The Imperial-II class Star Destroyer Hammer slowly cruised through Emperor's Hammer space, flanked by the Victory-II class Star Destroyer Sinister. On the bridge, everything was business as usual. After the departure
of her Commodore and the arrival of his successor, the personnel aboard the Star Destroyer had slowly started getting used to the change in command.
They didn't know what the new Commodore had in mind. Her plans for the future were wild, bordering on the megalomaniac. But staying tru to her nature as a Sith, the Commodore showed nothing of this. Soon, they would
all learn what it's like to be under the Command of a Commodore who craves action.
Well, perhaps I'm exaggerating a little bit there. But - this March, a month long Hammer-wide competition will come to you all. It will be divided into 4 rounds, starting with my report on the 1st. All events will be non-flying, and all will have an equal chance independent of when you receive my report. It does mean I will need to do a little coding, but I can do that.
Congrats to LC John T. Clark who has succeeded me as Commander of Delta Squadron. Good luck to you, sir!
I'm not entirely happy with the level of flying activity aboard this ship. This week, I have seen BSF emails and LoCs come in for a grand total of 6 pilots, one of which flew both SP and MP. There are 35 pilots on the Hammer's roster, so that's less than 20%. I would like to see that number go up to at least 25%! Even more surprising is that one of the MP-flying pilots didn't submit his results for the Hammer on Recon competition. With only 2 pilots taking part SP flying, we're getting our butts kicked by the Warrior pilots, and this is not to my liking!
Fortunately, there is one thing we have that the Warrior does not have, and that is an Imperator in the Fleet Commander's Honor Guard! Finally, after just 10 days short of 8 years in this fleet, I have reached the ultimate rank in the FCHG. Now to accomplish the same in the Combat Ratings!
Information on this report appears to be incomplete: I'm going over squadron reports to get some info, but I seem to be lacking a few reports on my desk!
If you wish to take on any of the following positions, send an application to the Squadron Commander (if applicable) and Commodore:

Dempsey's Weekly Riddles
Every week, the report will have a riddle. First pilot to send the correct answer to the mailing list wins. Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!
This week's riddle: Jack works at a company that resets passwords every month. One day he gets to work and can't log on to the network because his password was reset. He walks op to Jill and says: "My password is out of date!" Jill turns to him and says: "That's right, your password is different. But if you pay attention you can figure it out - your new password has the same amount of letters but only four of them are the same." What was Jack's old password, and what's his new password?
Last week's winner: LC John T. Clark
Current standings: VA Woody: 2; HA Bonini, COL La'an, LC Clark, CPT Fenn: 1
Hammer on Recon
Submit your StarConflict screenshots to me. For Domination and Beacon Hunt, the highest number of captures wins. For Team Battle and Combat recon, the highest number of kills wins. Submissions not
earning a medal will earn an activity point. First place wins an IS-SW, 2nd a IS-BW (with 2 submissions or more, otherwise IS-BW for first). Submissions earn 4 pts for 1st, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 pt for others.
At the end of the month, the top 3 MP flyiers will earn an IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW. 10 activity points wins an IS-BW and every 50th activity point will earn an IS-SW.
note: as of this week, assists will only count for half a kill (rounded up), and activity points will no longer be reset.

Things are off to a slow start. I understand real life is getting in the way of TC activity for several people on this ship, and that's something we'll have to deal with. After all, real life comes first. I do hope to see more squadron reports submitted on time next week though, and I do hope more pilots on the Hammer will show some activity! If you're unsure of what you can do - there's always flying. And if that's not an option, take advantage of the non flying competitions due to start in March! If you are looking for some non-flying activity, you can always make suggestions for more competitions, my e-mail inbox is always open and I promise not to feed you to the dianoogas in the Hammer's trash compactor if I don't like the suggestions!
Until next week!
