Commodore's Thoughts

Gents,

It's been a quieter week for us since we finished the Find the COM Competition. I've spoken to the Trivia master, and Warrior trivia should begin soon. In the meantime, I hope everyone is enjoying their respective Squadron competitions and activities.

The SOO position is still vacant and is leaving a big hole in our hearts. I expect the TCCOM will have more on that sooner rather than later.

What's more of a big hole in our hearts, is the position of Sigma Squadron Commander, which is still open for applications. I will make my decision by next weekend, I just wanted to give ample time for anyone who was still mulling it over. I've received two quality applicants to date, but the position is by no means won until I announce the new appointee next week.

Speaking of next week, I am embarking on an RL journey with my employer that will keep me a little further from you guys than usual since I will be on the road. I'm unsure if I will be able to report regularly for the next two weeks, but I have a feeling I'm going to pull it off. Either way, I will have my phone and the hotel has Wifi. Also, Frown is now a seasoned acting Commodore so I have absolutely no qualms.

Lastly, I've received two of three possible MSEs, and am waiting for the last so that medals may be recommended! And perhaps promotions this month?

Conclusion

I guess Frown is still on vacation... I think we should leave his interim replacement alone until he gets back... That thing gives me the creeps. We should probably get him a new real goat, the poop was easier to deal with...
