SQUADRON NEWS

This is an early Squadron Report for Kappa Squadron for last week. Christmas festivities are upon us and affecting our (at least mine, for sure) weekends heavily…

Winter-themed competitions are running. One submission for the winter banner (mine…) and no submissions for fictions yet. I hope that Pilots in the Fleet will have enough initiative and time to enter the comps in time!

Kappa Squadron has been quiet flying-wise this week except a few MP matches flown by CPT Starkillerny, which is a good indicator that he survived Las Vegas… I like the activity there, Star!

A flying competition, Kappa Race to 25 has been launched last week, as well. I challenge the squad to collect 25 FCHG and LoC points as fast as you can. Winner takes an IS-SW, all pilots who reach 10 points earn an IS-BW each.

Flight 2 Leader position is open. I am accepting applications from the whole Fleet until next Wednesday, then I’ll make my suggestion to the COM.

TIE Corps membership is tallying 81 loyal pilots including top brass.

I have obtained a Wiki login and updated the Squadron’s Wiki page. Any Kappa members who would like to add some personal pilot background, send your materials! Also, share your ideas on improving our public image!

MSS TAC offered help in restoring CM Hawkins’ profile. I hope that it will be finished early next week and your medals and past achievements will be in place then.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

I am happy to see buzz around the squad, and glad that all the winter festivity preparations does not entirely keep people away from the Corps and our Squad. Looking forward to hearing from you next week, too!
