• Biggest Sigma news this week is CM Zeke Freeman has transferred to our squadron from the M/FRG Phoenix! He's settled in nicely already, with some time in the cockpit. COL Frown is none too pleased he's already come under laser fire.


• Breaking news! The TIE Golf 2014 Invitational is finally over, and LC Plif has beaten our COM! Congratulations to him.


• There's some sort of Pazaak tournament going on over on the Warrior but I understand we're all invited. I have no orders against that, just don't pick up any diseases from over there.


• A few overdue rewards this week from the office of the COO. I received an IS-SW and LCM Len Eode received an IS-BW.


• Once again, Warrior Trivia. I shamed my family and got a question incorrect! However, two of the top three spots were taken by Sigma, with LCM Len Eode and CM Lanil Jast getting all questions correct.


• Question Me, Sigma! was way down in participation, with only LCM Len Eode participating. He had a runaway victory! Congratulations.

We have no current Sigma-only competitions besides Question Me, Sigma! but stay tuned for more coming soon. I plan to get some going at the beginning of December.

1. Pazaak! - Until December 31st - View the site for full rules, but basically, play Pazaak against other TC members!


2. Star Conflict Objectives - Until December 31st - Don't go for kills in Star Conflict! Only objectives will get you points in this competition. Just submit your screenshots as normal, and the office of the COO will do the rest.


3. COO Monthly Challenge - Until December 31st - The person with the most kills in a single match can win a DFC! Screenshots must be manually submitted to the COO and SOO. Full details here.


4. Warrior Trivia - Weekly - Each week, MAJ Plif will give a link to 5 questions. Start them whenever you like, but once you start answer as quick as you can! This week's questions can be found here.


5. TC Recruiter - Monthly starting October 1st - Recruit people to the TC! Let's grow the TC and make it a force to be reckoned with.


6. Ace of the TC (SP/MP) - Monthly - Get LoCs, fly missions and battles. Most in a month wins medals!


7. One-Word Run-on - Keep posting words, making a story with other EH members! The thread is at the forums.


8. Question Me, Sigma! - Weekly - 20 Questions, Star Wars style! You know it, you love it! Sigma only.

I've been busy this past week with Life Day preparations. I have a holo of Bea Arthur that hasn't seen the light of day in 30 years, and after I watch it another 30 years will pass before it's out again. This is the holiday season, so I do expect a little winding down, but be prepared for big things come January.

Also, pending approval, we will have a competition on the message board. I hope everyone who likes fiction will participate. Sigma silliness will abound.
