Well, I am back. Yay me!
Last week was great. The weather, the remains of an empire, and mnost of all the Italian icecream. And now we return to the real world.
A real world in which I read the COM's report. I hope all Hammer pilots have read it. It seems we are in a serious depression when it
comes to activity. We have two big Hammer-wide competitions going on, and participation in both of them is, to say the very least,
dramatic. Come on folks, grab your flight sticks and do some flying! Even if it's just the missions for the competition and nothing else,
it's still a good way to be active (and maybe even steal some emdals from me). Last week I was given a present of 7 medals because there
was NO ONE but me and the COM flying them! Not that I mind the medals, they are FCHG points I can use to
reach the final FCHG rank, but a little competition is fun too!
Squadron wise, I would liike to thank MAJ Clark for once again covering the trivia in my absence. I even
managed to put in 2 answers for this week, getting me a wee bit closer to a trivia incentive medal of my own. Only 176 more points to go...
With my 1 point earned this week, this will take awhile. What's not good though is that my 1 point earned me 2nd place in the week!
Where are you guys? The last two months we've seen the AWOL of THREE Delta pilots - I do hope SL Darth
Kitten is the last of us to go due to inactivity. Reality however makes me fear he is not :(
On to happier tidings: there's been a nice mission design strategy discussion going on on the mailing list in my absence, which is nice,
and I made the quotes in the TCCOM's report!
I managed to submit my TIE Golf hole just in time, thanks to the extension offered by the Warrior COM. The first two holes were fine, the
second two holes were crap, I can't wait to see how I did on this one. I don't believe I'll be going through to the final though, but it's
been fun. Thanks for hosting it, Frodo!
We also saw last month's MSE medals arrive. Unfortunately not all my recommendations were approved, resulting in only 2 medals. I've seen
better and I want to see better again!
