SQUADRON STATUS: Making an old platform learn new tricks

COL Almasy asked me a question about ship patches in XWA that I went ahead and followed the steps to reproduce. I ended up finding that the solution was installing the XWA Craft Pack instead of the individual ship patch to complete XWA-TC 17. For anyone trying to fly XWA missions with custom ships particularly in a 64-bit operating system, the Craft Pack seems to be the way to go.

The ISD Warrior Invitational TIE Golf tournament continues, with your fearless leader jumping back into first place after week 4. Week 5 is the final round, wish me luck!

The Sinner's Delight awards for this week went to LC Miles Prower for SP and CM Nolij for MP, nice work!
OPEN COMPETITIONS
The Competitions Center and Combat Center on the TIE Corps site can provide all the details for each competition. In my reports, I'll just be listing short summaries of each open competition that are open to Sin pilots.
  1. Each time you group up with another TC pilot in Star Conflict and win, you'll earn a point for grouping. Most points at the end of the month win Iron Stars! These are tracked through normal database submissions, nothing special needs to be done. (Whole TC, 2652)

  2. Sinner's Delight - SP: The pilot with the most SP missions flown at the end of each week (Tuesday-Monday) will earn an IS-BW! (Sin, 2607)

  3. Sinner's Delight - MP: The pilot that earns the most LoCs each week (Tuesday-Monday) will win an IS-BW! (Sin, 2608)

  4. If you finish an SC PvP match in Domination or Team Battle mode with a lot of kills, send that over to the COO and SOO (Whole TC, 77)

  5. Along with the usual Medal of Instruction, recruiting pilots to the TIE Corps has been incentivized until the end of the year: Top three recruiters win Iron Stars! (Whole TC, 2632)

  6. Warrior Trivia: Answer five trivia questions each week. Very small time requirement! (Warrior, 2623)

  7. MP Ace of the TIE Corps (Whole TC, 2501)

  8. SP Ace of the TIE Corps (Whole TC, 2492)

  9. One Word Run-On: Over on the message board, we're doing a one-word-at-a-time story. Highest participation earns rewards! (Whole TC, 2637)

CLOSING THOUGHTS
FCHG ranks have started feeling really far away from each other, and I'm not even on a rank where the next one is 1000 points away yet. The climb continues.
