Commodore's Thoughts

July came and went in a flash, and here we are in August. A friendly reminder to the Commanders that I expect their July MSEs before the weekend.

Speaking of MSEs, most of our awards have been processed from the June MSEs and will be outlined in the awards section of this report for posterity. Congratulations to all the recipients. If you have not received a medal yet, fear not, for yours may just be waiting for some form of high ranking approval!

...Either that, or your CMDR is taking his sweet time with the recommendation... Let's get on that, gents!

The competition to fly TIE Free 287 has a plural amount of participants and will be concluding at the end of today. We've had at least one suggestion for a sequel, which is therefore the front runner. The way things are right now, I may feel inclined to just award an IS-SW to the highest score instead of the conditional IS-GW. There is however, still time.

Due to this development. The next ship competition will be a MP SC one. I'm currently working with Major Plif on how that will look. More on this soon.

Congratulations to CPT Repulsor on his well earned promotion! Well done, and here's to many more. *cheers* ...I'm not paying for this drink right?

The sad news of the week is the AWOL of SL Turok and LT Dark123 from Sin Squadron. We wish them well in future endeavours.

Q1: Hello.... What the heck is that picture!?

A1: Greetings. Yes, I am feeling replenished and healthy after coming back from my well earned vacation, thanks for asking...

Q2: Seriously, is that a banner of some kind?

A2: Oh. That. Well, the Commodore demanded that I make a graphic for the RTF Bonus competition... This is what ended up happening. I just took a selfie while in the process of my usual morning routine, which includes shooting eye lasers at the ISD Hammer. No idea where the letters came from.

Q3: Remind me to be nicer to you...

A3: Will do.

Conclusion

I am cautiously optimistic that a SC competition at the ship level will receive strong participation. If anybody has suggestions regarding the nature of the competition, feel free to contact me and CC Plif. Naturally, I think we're going to keep away from the LoC race competition for the time being.
