Welcome to another 2-in-1 Beta Squadron Weekly Report!
Raise the Flag is now over, and although the final results are not out, it's safe to say the Warrior came out victorious, but the Hammer has nothing to be ashamed of either, we gave them a hell of a fight! I would like to thank every Betan who participated, even though we basically finished last, which brings me to my next point:
As I feel that my leadership does not have the same quality as two months ago, and it's starting to show on the squadron's results, I have decided to step down as CMDR of Beta and give way to other officers to lead Death's Gambit to the glory and fame it deserves. This was not an easy decision, but it is for the best, and without the administrative part on my shoulders, I will be able to contribute more to the squadron through flying and rendering uniforms (two things I actually love to do).
My resignation is effective as soon as I sent in the MSE for June and after I made sure there will be a new officer in the CO chair.
To make things more complicated, Lieutenant Colonel Kenath Zoron requested to be moved to the Reserves due to his RL situation, which request has already been forwarded to the COM. I'd hate to see you go, Z, and there is still time to reconsider, but I also understand that sometimes we just need to take some time off.
I accept any applications from within our squadron for the CMDR position. If I don't get any applications in 3 days or the Admiralty doesn't approve the applications, I will request the position to be opened to the Hammer (and the Warrior too if necessary).
