Commodore's Thoughts

The big news this week is our convincing victory in the Raise the Flag Competition, making us the flagship of the TIE Corps until the next instalment of the event. Theta Squadron is the TCCOM's own, with GN Pickled Yoda taking first place overall for the individual competition. Well done everyone. I'm proud of everyone here for accomplishing their destinies, and reaching 52% participation. For this feat, I will receive an IS-GR... But this one is for all of us. We truly performed well.

HA Bonini has moved in to the Warrior's guest quarters, but only after having gone through a test to see if he was truly human, which involved answering 100 questions in front of a weird machine that focused on his eye. We couldn't get Harrison Ford to ask the questions, so Tempest had to do it. The good news is, he checks out!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hammer for it's glorious opposition of our efforts. Here's hoping next year will be even better.

The next few weeks will involve much celebration and drunkenness as we return to normalcy here on the Warrior. We will take a little break from competitions right now while the CMDRs and I sort out the MSE situation. There was so much activity, I must ask you all to accept a reasonable delay that may be a little longer than usual for the MSE awards to get through, to make sure we get it right. I have received two of the four MSEs to date, so CMDRs, get on those so that the process may continue.

The next ship competition should be somewhere between the mid and end of July. Unless I can convince the TAC to start TIE Golf... Which would be sweet.

Congratulations to Nolij on his promotion to LCM for his exemplary work in Sin Squadron. I think we can expect a few more promotions in the coming days if the MSEs come in soon. Hint hint!

Q1: Hello there Colonel! I see you've regained your former expression!

A1: Yes. You see, I have been up all night reviewing MSEs for the Commodore. I've had to start drinking this Kappa Hype in a can to stay awake! ...It tastes like enthusiasm. Bleh.

Q2: Sounds like there will be lots of medals!

A2: Yes. Yes there will. Sounds like you forgot what a question mark is.

Q3: Oh pish! Give me a break! We're the champions! Aren't you pumped?

A3: Well, I was. Then I took a closer look at all your SP results... And a lot of you did not heed my advice from last report. Many wingmen have perished... I'm permanently grumpy!

Q4: That's a shame, Colonel, we were going to have a great party in the cantina...

A4: You pilots... Always partying when there's paperwork to be done. Good thing somebody is here to pick up the slack. No thanks to any of you!

Q5: So you will not join us for a drink?

A5: Nope.

Conclusion

I hope everybody has an excellent week revelling in our great victory. Remember to enjoy the summer a little bit. Rewards will be coming in soon, and in epic proportions.
