WEEKLY HAMMER COMMODORE REPORT
WEEKLY HAMMER COMMODORE REPORT #14
TO: TCCOM HA Daniel Bonini
FROM: Hammer COM RA Elwood the Brave
DATE SUBMITED: 5th July 2014
OVERVIEW
RtF 2014 is finally over and final results have been announced. Congratulations to the ISD II Warrior and its crew for winning this competition!

Even though we managed to close in on the Warrior during the MP bonus competition and did well during the SP bonus competition I have to admit that we were unable to do more then preventing the Warrior from extending their lead. And even though we've surely lost this RtF to the Warrior I am still proud of the mass of activity from the Hammer personal! You've given the Warrior a good fight and made them worry more then a little about their lead. Especially CM Landon Cruise and LCM Chrome with their massive amount of MP matches and COL Anahorn Dempsey with her massive SP activity, including lots of HS's did a hell of a lot to prevent the Warrior from running through this competition without a real fight. But as I always said, every single point is gonna count in the end and there were plenty of pilots submitting stuff for more then just a single point. You all deserve my respect and I am more the proud to have you aboard my ship! I am also sure that there will be a lot of medals to reflect the massive amount of activity after the actual MSE round is processed.

Now that RtF 2014 is over we might concentrate on our very own competitions again. HoP, HPotM, HSotM are still running and could use a little increase in participation.

Biggest News this week was LC Kyle Kroan stepping down from Beta CMDR due to RL issues and missing time for the CMDR spot. He did a hell of a job as Beta CMDR and he's work there will surely be missed a lot!. Still he decided he should step down to a FM spot where he could be of more help with his uniform creation and flying while not having to deal with the whole administrative workload of a CMDR spot. I hope you'll be happy with your decision, LC!

And if that wouldn't be enough I received the request of LC Kenath Zoron to be transferred to the RSV's, and it should be processed within the hour. I hope you'll find your way back to us soon, LC Zoron!

With LC Kroan stepping down Beta CMDR spot is open for applications. Anyone feeling the call for a CMDR spot should send his application to me.

TC COMPETITIONS
Ace of the TC
Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied, missions not yet processed will count towards the next month. IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board - IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year.

MP Ace of the TC
The MP Kill Board will be used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.

HAMMER COMPETITIONS
HoP - Hammer on Patrol - ISD II Hammer wide
Each Saturday in my report I will announce 1 Free mission or battle for TIE, XvT and XWA. Every pilot of the ISD II Hammer then has until the following Saturday, 08:00 GMT to forward me their bsf-mail for those missions/battles. IS-SW for highest score, IS-BW for second for each game platform each week (laserless scoring for TIE as usual). In addition to that participants accumulate points for their weekly participation. 1st receives 4 points, 2nd 3 points, 3rd 2 points and all others 1 point. Highscores gain you a bonus point (only one bonus point for the one holding the HS for the mission or the whole battle with his submission by the end of the week, not for those that might beat the actual HS during the week and get beaten again before the week ends). The points for all platforms will be counted together for the monthly rewards for this competition. So the more platforms you participate in, the higher your points. On last Saturday of each month the one with the most points will be awarded an IS-GW, second an IS-SW and third an IS-BW.

In case your CMDR or MSS TAC were unable to get the bsf-procedure for your submission done in time (before Saturday 08:00 GMT) send me your pilot file(s) and I'll delay the announcement of the results for the week until all bsf-mails reached my inbox. Results will always be covered in my WSR, just like the new missions/battles for the following week.

In case I received pilot files from less then 5 pilots or less then 2 different squadrons during one month, the monthly awards for this month will be lowered to IS-SW/BW for 1st/2nd.

For every pilot file submited that doesn't qualify for one of the weekly medals each pilot earns himself an "activity point" ( Max. 1 point per platform per week). Each time a pilot reaches 8 activity points he'll receive an IS-BW. Each time a pilot earns himself one of the other medals given out for the HoP competition (no matter if weekly or monthly awards) the activity points counter will be reset to zero.

HSotM - Hammer Student of the Month - Wing I wide
Education is the basis of success. And we allready have the key for that success lying on our EH.org server, the Imperial University and Imperial Weapons and Tacticts School. So from now on every Hammer member that sucesscully takes one of the IU/IWATS courses earns himself one point for this competition. A perfect score for a course is worth an additional bonus point. The Hammer member with most points at the end of the month is declared "Hammer student of the month" for that month and is allowed to wear this titel as part of his ID-Line. Depending on participation there will be different IS given out. If there are more then 3 participants, the first 3 will earn IS-GR - IS SR - IS-BR, if there are 3 or less participants there will be only IS-SR and IS-BR up for the first 2.

To make sur your courses count toward this competition you have to forward me your graduation mail to my inbox.

ORDERS
1.) Contact your CMDR and/or FL at least once a week and report all your activities to them.
2.) Keep activity on good level (IU/IWATS, flying or anything you can do). This club is about activity and fun, not just boring hang around.
3.) Participate in Competitions! Those are designed and run to give YOU something to have fun with.
4.) Communicate! Communication is the basis of everything we do! Without communication, no community, no fun!
FINAL WORDS

People, you've done an amazing job in the biggest competition of the TC I can remember. I am proud of you!

respectfully submitted
