Commodore's Thoughts

Pilots! Tomorrow we will be half way through Raise the Flag, and we have yet to relinquish the lead. Which is good, but the prevalent message from the CMDRs and I will not change: Press on! Keep it up. Don't give them hope.

On a more humorous note, it turns out that I had a functional and fully patched version of XvT on my computer all this time. It only took me 196 TIE missions before I got tired enough to try it, and now my beloved platform from years passed feels very weird. Every time I fly it I can hear Tempest in the back of my head explaining why it isn't as good as TIE. Of course, I've never heard Tempest's voice, so I just imagine a cross between David Hasselhoff and the lead singer from Rammstein. But I digress.

We currently lead by over 1000 points thanks to the hard work of Theta Squadron in particular, who has GN Pickled Yoda to account for most of that activity. Not that the other Thetans aren't doing well, La'an, Mark and Gilad are all flying consistently and making the Warrior proud.

Our second best unit in the competition is Sin Squadron! Our newest group is flying their hearts out thanks to the combined efforts of Plif, Flelm and Nolij who all have over 100 points. The latter mentioned newly promoted FL, LT Nolij almost has 200 points and is leading his unit with consistent flying. Overall, Sin is just a few points behind second place overall Delta, and it would sure be nice to see them surpass them! Let's not forget MAJ Wraith who joined less than a week ago and already has more than 50 points! Go Sin go!

Overall, 17 out of 40 pilots of the ISD Warrior have participated in RTF, and that is without counting any points for fiction or graphics, because they are not yet on the RTF website. Therefore I can confirm that we're at least at 20, which is the 50% mark, half way through the competition. Well done for now, but it's not over.

The graphics bonus comp should end tomorrow, and the balance of power may shift.

Congrats to Plif for his Bronze Star of the Empire for May activity. The rest of the MSE awards are in the awards section!

Oh... and congrats to Kappa Squadron Commander Starkillerny on his promotion to Captain! Well done Captain. Here's to many more.
