Commodore's Thoughts

I appreciate everyone's patience in the release of this report. It is a doozy.

It was a very big week for everyone on the Warrior, and a busy one for me. Firstly, congratulations are in order for our 9 merit medal submissions from our April MSEs. Special mention to CPT Plif, LT Rhace and GN Yoda for their Bronze Stars of the Empire. The other medals are outlined in the awards section. 9 total medals were awarded, which is nearly a third of our pilots. All in all, I'm pleased, but I bet we can beat that for May!

While the admiralty board and I were dealing with the MSEs, I finally caved to the overwhelming excitement and Sin Squadron was opened with our very own Captain Plif commanding. He took some convincing, so I'm very happy to see him accept such an enormous command. I know you won't let us down, Plif. We are currently still accepting volunteers for the crucial role of Flight Leader for 3 flight in Sin Squadron! This is your chance to be a part of TC history.

CPT Flelm has generously volunteered to be the flight leader for Sin Flight 2. I'm happy to see we've got a solid base of strong leadership in Sin, but I'm even happier that the wordplay has begun and the puns are just outstanding.

In addition, we saw the arrival of three new SLs this week, one of which is already a LT. Welcome aboard once again LT Andural, SL FBK and SL Turok. And as if that wasn't awesome enough, MAJ Bryan returned to active duty from the reserves. Welcome aboard Bryan, it's good to see you back.

This Saturday is the last day to beat my score at TIE Free 278 for lots of medals! We've already got 4 submissions that beat my score... In hindsight, I should have probably blown up the platform.

From the Bridge of the Warrior

LT Doralt walks up to the bar in the Warrior's cantina. There is a sign at the top of the bar that says "The Battlefield". A fitting name he thought, considering what these pilots were doing to their livers on a daily basis. There are a few Thetans and Sinners sitting around a Sabbacc table, being generally loud and unruly. The bartender addresses him:

Bartender: What'll it be, Lieutenant?
Doralt: I'll have ...err...something with no alcohol in it.
Bartender: Well, that doesn't leave you great many choices.
Doralt: Doesn't matter. Just give me what you've got.

The bartender hands Doralt a tall can of "Kappa HYPE" energy drink. Doralt gives the bartender a confused look.

Bartender: What?
Doralt: ...Didn't you used to have blue milk?
Bartender: Aye we did. but Commander Starkillerny came through this week. He threw out all the blue milk and gave us cases of this stuff.
Doralt: It tastes like...enthusiasm... with... Is that cherry?
Bartender: Beats me! Keeps you up though!


Conclusion

We're growing quite rapidly, and it sure feels good to see that new unit open up, regardless of how small it may be at the moment. We're less than two weeks away from all out war versus the Hammer, so stay tuned, and get ready. June first was confirmed as the start date and the TCCOM will release the rules in his next report. It's going to get real.
