Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report – 27th April 2014

CMDR-TCS/COL Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon squadron.

Squadron activity has been solid this week which is encouraging, in addition to numerous medal awards from recent MSEs. LC Gyssler continues to lead by example and performed well in the Hammer on Patrol competition recently. LT Renalds also remains a reliable Flight Leader, and earned a couple of medals himself. For my part, I received an IS-BW for placing second in week 3 of Hammer on Patrol.

With the split into two ships and separate wings, Frodo March and Elwood the Brave have taken up the mantle of Commodore well (for the Warrior and Hammer respectively). General TIE Corps activity is strong, with the mailing list in almost continuous discussion and new rivalries brewing between our squadrons in multiplayer competitions. A new edition of Raise the Flag is also being planned. Unfortunately, the TC site and database have been experiencing severe problems, leading to missing email notifications. A permanent replacement for the current host has been discussed.
