TO: TCCOM HA Daniel Bonini
FROM: Hammer COM RA Elwood the Brave
DATE SUBMITED: 25th April 2014
OVERVIEW
Here we go. All MSE's and the resulting medals were processed. See Medals section for details. Congratulations to all receipients!

EH.org and TC database still with problems as it seams. Make sure to forward each and every activity to your CMDR manualy and cc me for your HoP submissions to make sure everything is counted.

The Hammer banner competitions deadline is extended up to next Thursday, 24:00 GMT due to my LoA over this weekend. So far I've received 2 submissions (LT Neo Roswell and COL Jacob van Novak).

RTF 2014 is in the making. Expect it to start somewhen soon. So ready your Flight Sims (SP and MP) to make the Hammer win :-)

The changes to the HoP comp seem to work. 5 pilots with 11 pilot files participated this week. Well Done! As this is the last report for this month I'll also announce the first monthly winner of the HoP comp. It is COL Anahorn Dempsey (46) followed by LC Gyssler (28) and Myself(21). Congratulations!

TC COMPETITIONS
Ace of the TC
Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied, missions not yet processed will count towards the next month. IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board - IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year.

MP Ace of the TC
The MP Kill Board will be used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.

MUD Bug Hunter
Play on the MUD at mud.fox-developments.co.uk, port 6100.
Whenever you find a bug, make a note of it and email it to Madon (mark.d.fox@gmail.com), and CC Mark Schueler (pilot4182@googlemail.com). Top bug spotters win a special prize once the MUD goes live.
If you need any help getting on or playing on the MUD, feel free to shoot an email to Madon and Mark (Lenzar).

*THIS* is the TIE Corps!
So the TIE Corps website doesn't seem to have the classic 'About us...' section up there for people to realize what we really are and what's this pseudo-military madness all about. And I've heard some officers from our current membership complaining that such situation could be driving potential new recruits back in panic thinking we're gonna eat their democratic souls or something, then forcing them to play games meant to be played only by lifeless beings who lost their twenties long ago. And hell... I think they're damn right.

Therefore, and in order for such an important issue on our recruiting efforts to be addressed ASAP, your most dreaded SOO has decided to set up an official competition for you to be able to contribute with what may perfectly be the best thing you'll ever do for the Fleet as a whole out of your own performance as pilots and commanding officers.

ALL current members of the TIE Corps are hereby called to participate by submitting their own versions of an eventual 'About us' section, which will become the main page to be accessed instead the news one. All submissions must use HTML standard code and are expected to include pics, logos, links, EH/TC history, game platforms we use, maybe a few lines on usual Fleet procedures... Everything you may consider important enough to the point of motivating slightly interested people into becoming our new cadets (without boring them to suicidal levels). Please include the HTML file itself and all pics using the intended resolution on a ZIP file, then send it by e-mail to ALL members of the TIE Corps Admiralty (TCCOM, SOO and COO). And try for all your content to fit on a 750px wide table (including margins). Apart from that you should try to follow current TC site layout as much as possible, and know that your submission may be modified as necessary by site admin. (that would be the aforementioned dreaded SOO) for it to better fit current content.

Nothing else to say except that we're obviously expecting top-quality submissions as befitting our great Fleet, as much as to be judged as worthy contenders for no less than a Platinum Ribbon! Please try to understand this task is of utmost important for us all, hence the quality we're asking for and our confidence in your skills to fulfil our requirements.

Star Conflict's Beacon Hunt 2
Round 2. This will be a test of your skill to capture as many beacons as you can in one round with a victory. In layman's terms, in a Beacon Hunt mode game, capture the beacon as many times as you can in one round.

Hammer's banner competition
The ISD II Hammer needs a banner. Power up your graphic software and create something impressive including an ISD II. MAke sure it also features the Hammer's motto and/or Nickname in some way.

IS-GR for first, IS-SR for second and IS-BR for third best submission, decided by myself.

HAMMER COMPETITIONS
HoP - Hammer on Patrol - ISD II Hammer wide
Each Saturday in my report I will announce 1 Free mission or battle for TIE, XvT and XWA. Every pilot of the ISD II Hammer then has until the following Saturday, 08:00 GMT to forward me their bsf-mail for those missions/battles. IS-SW for highest score, IS-BW for second for each game platform each week (laserless scoring for TIE as usual). In addition to that participants accumulate points for their weekly participation. 1st receives 4 points, 2nd 3 points, 3rd 2 points and all others 1 point. Highscores gain you a bonus point (only one bonus point for the one holding the HS for the mission or the whole battle with his submission by the end of the week, not for those that might beat the actual HS during the week and get beaten again before the week ends). The points for all platforms will be counted together for the monthly rewards for this competition. So the more platforms you participate in, the higher your points. On last Saturday of each month the one with the most points will be awarded an IS-GW, second an IS-SW and third an IS-BW.

In case your CMDR or MSS TAC were unable to get the bsf-procedure for your submission done in time (before Saturday 08:00 GMT) send me your pilot file(s) and I'll delay the announcement of the results for the week until all bsf-mails reached my inbox. Results will always be covered in my WSR, just like the new missions/battles for the following week.

In case I received pilot files from less then 5 pilots or less then 2 different squadrons during one month, the monthly awards for this month will be lowered to IS-SW/BW for 1st/2nd.

For every pilot file submited that doesn't qualify for one of the weekly medals each pilot earns himself an "activity point" ( Max. 1 point per platform per week). Each time a pilot reaches 8 activity points he'll receive an IS-BW. Each time a pilot earns himself one of the other medals given out for the HoP competition (no matter if weekly or monthly awards) the activity points counter will be reset to zero.
