Another week has passed in a flash, largely due to a brief absence on my part. The consequences of that have just become apparent as my inbox has disappeared beneath a tidal wave of LoC and BSF confirmations, suffice to say I'm thoroughly pleased. The squadron has swollen in size to a mighty 9, helped by the fact that every single one of them is at present active and has activity to report. In certain cases the activity is well and above that which I would expect, and I am once again thoroughly pleased. We are represented at present by 5 pilots on the MP killboard and 2 on the SP. Outstanding Lambda, outstanding... and set to increase as Gilad accelerates towards SC as we speak!

As it stands an MSE for Feb will be yielding numerous awards, even after a little over two weeks, so now is the time to really lay down our claim to top squadron within the wing. We're big enough and we're certainly mean enough at this stage, so look forward to some inter-squad SC comps in the near future once I herd enough of my colleagues together to discuss terms!

Welcome officially to LT Landon Cruise, COL Jacob van Nowak, and COL Horus Blackheart. I'm glad you picked Lambda, and I'm hoping that with another week we can fill our remaining slots. Special attention is given to Landon and his strong performance to date, a Commendation of Bravery has been requested following your completion of 30 missions (by a factor of 3...), and I look forward to formally announcing it.

Lambda Competitions

Lambda Unleashed - Lambda needs a banner, simple as that. Ideally a variation on the 95th Fighter Squadrons "death with finesse" skeleton - but go wild and get creative, the cheesier the better! Open to all, with an IS-SR and -BR available to the top two entries. All submissions to myself, deadline of 2359 GMT Feb 17th. NO ENTRIES so far, which is a better indicator that your effort will be rewarded. The alternative will be my own effort on msPaint designed to humiliate us all for our laziness!

Operational Picture

...I'm not going in there, they're all mad - they keep throwing those daggers they wear on their belts at pictures of some crappy old M/FRG... I don't get it, even worse their aim is appalling, we've already lost a mouse droid, a bartender and an Ensign... and there's no guarantee they can even re-attach the bugger's ear properly...

CMDR's Corner

A good week and thus far a damned good month, I hope to see it continue. Everyone is doing well and I'm satisfied at present, but there is still room for improvement. Gilad is implementing SC and will hopefully drag Nebular with him, while both Flight 2 and 3 will benefit from additional bodies. So far so good, and I hope to have at least two new comps running within the next few days.
