Welcome to the fourteenth Beta Squadron Weekly Report!

We had a good week, with some nice activity levels, but obviously the awarding of the MSE medals and the Commendations of Loyalty was the icing on this week's cake! Beta received 2 CoLs, which is proof that after only fourteen weeks of existence, we are right up there with the rest of the veterans! This is truly a great achievement and I want to thank each and every one of you for making this possible!

Our first trivia run was successful with 3 participants: Zoron, Lommax and Stephens. We had some fun moments, I hope you guys enjoyed the questions. Looking forward to another successful round starting tomorrow!

On other news, hopefully the new TOR expansion, Galactic Starfighter will become a TC-supported platform, giving us another way to be active (and possibly to recruit new members)! There was also some talk about First Strike, a mod for Battlefield 2142, I will probably test it out and see how it is and write a review in the upcoming days.

I also hope that Beta's Training Excersize and the Citation Hunt will become more popular than it is at the moment. Remember, we need at least 3 participants in both of these competitions for me to be able to award wings! Let's try to do it!

When X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter was released in 1997, it originally included 2 CDs: a Master Game Disc that included the full Single and Multiplayer game, and a Multiplayer Game Disc that you could share with a friend to play multiplayer games with. During that year, some of the sets had the labeling reversed, prompting LucasArts to include a notice in the affected boxes that the discs were actually the opposite of what was labeled.

Julon Lommax: the young Lieutenant has been awarded with yet another Imperial Security Medal! Keep up the good work, LT!

Kyle Kroan: I had the honor of getting a Commendation of Loyalty and a Bronze Star pinned onto my uniform. Go Beta!
