TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #47 – Submission date: February 2nd 2014
Introduction

Welcome to this week’s TCCOM report,

As you have heard, Lambda Squadron is about to be opened. This is great news for the TIE Corps, since we once again will have a full Wing of Squadrons, and just one squadron short of having to open a second Wing. Let’s hope we can get to that!

The former SOO, COL Jarek La’an will lead Lambda, and he has already selected his 2 Flight Leaders. With the blessing of their current Squadron Commanders, COL Mell Kerrigan from Alpha and GN Gilad Pellaeon from Delta will take those spots. Congratulations to the 3 of you, I’m sure you’ll be able to make Lambda succeed.

Lambda’s commissioning comes at the same time the work of adding former member’s malls to the reservists list. They will be e-mailed regarding the current status of the fleet shortly. Hopefully, I’ll be able to bribe some of them into returning, at least to get all squadrons in good standings. For this and adding new recruits from Star Conflict, one could be more optimistic as to even have to open more squadrons, but let’s just wait and see. I’ll be pleased already if we manage to get enough people to have at least 10 per squadron. I know we can do it.

And that was not all the good news of the week, as we’ve had some returnees from the Phoenix: LC Quincy Nelson has joined Delta Squadron, while MAJ Tuba and CM Repulsor have joined Gamma Squadron. Welcome back to all!

If that wasn’t enough, we’ve had a couple promotions as well! Beta Squadron Commander, Kyle Kroan, was promoted to the rank of Major, while LT Upsidexumop has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander for his good work as Flight Leader in Beta Squadron. Well done, MAJ Kyle and LCM Ups!

Since it’s never too much to promote the ongoing fleet wide competitions, Zós has created one called “Mjölnir?! Whatever…” regarding the creation of a nickname and motto for the ISD Hammer itself. Check the Competitions Center below for details!

RA Zósite has implemented the database feature that allows for Imperial Alliance matches to be reported for multiplayer matches. I just realized I’ve never tried it myself…maybe I’ll give it a go.

Description: So each and every squadron on Wing I has its nickname and motto well set, you see... Hell! Even the Wing itself happens to have its own nickname and motto coming from the time when we had all a Wing I Commander dooming from above.

But, alas! The ISD Hammer itself doesn't have any... and such a shameful situation shall be put to an end within the month. ALL members of the EH TIE Corps are called to send their submissions for ISD Hammer nickname and motto via e-mail to the SOO, RA Zósite K. Styles, while also CCing the rest of TC Admiralty, TCCOM HA Daniel Bonini and COO RA Crsepe.

Deadline is February 21st. IS-GR/IS-SR/IS-BR up for grabs if we manage to get 3 participants bothering us with the worst fruits of their rotten minds. IS-SR/IS-BR with only 2 participants. IS-BR with just one. 2-ranks free demotion for everyone with no participants.

Description: During Combat Recon modes, survive as the Captain or kill the Captain. This will be an accumulated number for the month. If you survive as the Captain, mouse-over the medal that says you survived as captain so we know that you did.

Description: The MP Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.

IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. Each mission only counts once towards this competition, missions flown in previous years can be reflown.
