TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #30 – Submission date: October 7th 2013
Introduction

Welcome to my 30th report as TCCOM!

It’s alive!!!

As you have probably noticed, the new TC database is online. Check http://tc.emperorshammer.org/ for details and be amazed on how many functions there are available. Personally, I love the statistics part, because that’s the thing I missed the most when we lost Kawolski’s database.

Take your time to browse through the site, and you’ll see that it has been an incredible advance from what we had before, to the point that I can safely say now that the TIE Corps has returned home.

There are some small things still being worked on, like e-mail color background for some people, minor glitches in data transfer, so, if you notice anything weird, please notify myself, FA La’an, HA Dempsey and COL Zósite.

By the way, as we all know, it’s because of COL Zósite that this has been made possible. Over a year ago, the good Colonel took matters into his own hands, and started upgrading the database that was once created by HA Dempsey to replace the missing Kawolski’s DB. I don’t think anyone could have done a better job at it. Colonel, I believe I speak for the whole fleet when I say: congratulations, and thank you. Thank you very much!

In a few days, I intend to contact all reserves and inactive personnel to tell them the good news, and hopefully nudge them in the right direction. In the meantime, I’d like to ask all of you who have friends on those places: contact them…let them know what’s going on, let them know that the TC is back on its feet, and that we’ll have a great time here once again.

COL Zósite has been reviewing everyone’s profiles, and that allowed us to correct some things, like awarding overdue Commendations of Bravery. Congrats are in order to LC Gyssler, VA Starrett, MAJ Tuba, LCM Tom O’deevs, CPT Ninj Prefect, LT meleagris Gallopavo and VA Keth D’jek!

Besides CoBs, there were a lot of updates in the Order of the Vanguard awards. The following personnel had their OVs updated to the respective Echelons: COL Czulvang Lah to OV-8E, CPT Ric Gravin to OV-14E, CM Strahl to OV-12E, RA Victor Tylyon to OV-11E, COL Zeth Durron to OV-10E, RA Crsepe to OV-13E and FA Jarek La’an to OV-10E.

We’ve already had one member return to active duty due to our new facilities this week. Welcome back to COL Mark Schueler, who returns to Gamma Squadron in its 2-2 position, and once again accumulates his position with the Logistics Office!

Once again, I’d like to thank CM Kyle Kroan for the assistance in researching old EH Newsletters, allowing us to update more profiles. This week, he discovered the possible date of joining the fleet of FA Jarek La’an, April 26th 2003, allowing us to update his OV.

Zós has also fixed my own historic record, and for the first time I got the chance to actually see my entire TC career before my eyes. It’s a pretty sight, at least for me ;)

Congratulations to all who completed their anniversaries in the fleet this week. My 14th anniversary is actually tomorrow…there’s talk of cake, with girls coming out of it…don’t miss it…yes, yes, I’m buying the booze…

Delta and Gamma Squadrons have submitted their Monthly Evaluation, and they have already received their awards using the brand new medal award e-mail, which has images and everything. It’s really impressive…make sure you get one of those really soon, all you need to do is be active. In the meantime, congratulations are in order to LC Elwood the Brave, LC Impulse, CPT John T. Clark and CM Kyle Kroan for their Bronze Stars of the Empire, to COL Dempsey for her Palpatine Crescent, and to CM Shado Fenn and GN Gilad Pellaeon for their Imperial Security Medals! Well done, pilots!

Conclusion

This was a very exciting report to write. I believe that in the future we will be able to focus on the really fun aspects of this fleet. There is a lot of work to be done, but Zósite’s actions have allowed for it to be so much more enjoyable.

Once again, we can’t thank you enough, Zós. Great job indeed!

For the rest of us, let’s make the best out of it. Have a great week!

Respectfully submitted,
