WEEKLY GAMMA SQUADRON REPORT
GAMMA WEEKLY SQUADRON REPORT #4
TO: TCCOM HA Daniel Bonini
FROM: Gamma CMDR LC Elwood the Brave
DATE SUBMITED: 27th July 2013
INTRODUCTION
This week saw the end of the Karana Phase 3. Alpha has won and can proudly name itself "TCCOMs Own Escort Squadron" until Karana Phase 4 is over. Congratulations for your victory Alpha! I'm sure next time it won't be this easy for you again :-P
There's also been some medals from the Karana Phase 3 for some of us Gammas. Master and I have won some IS's. More details in the activities section.
Karana Phase 4 battle is allready in the final testing stage and the SOO said it wouln't be that long until the Phase 4 starts. Let's hope he is right!

Gamma becomes educated and Gamma on patrole are still running and we have a new Gamma competition starting this week (1st August). Its name is "GoeP - Gamma on extended Patrole" and is more or less a FCHG-style competition. You'll find details for it in the Competitions section of this WSR.

From today on until the 18th August I will be on a semi leave and on vacation with the family. Until my hopefully safe return I will be on limited Internet access. That's why I ask you to submit your pilot files to the SOO and the TCCOM for bsf, cc'ing me so I can keep track of your activities. I will still be sending out WSR's on Saturdays during that time, just unable to garantee bsf for your pilot files within a reasonable time frame.

COMPETITIONS
Ace of the TC
Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied, missions not yet processed will count towards the next month. IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board - IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year.

Karana Initiative Phase 3
Fly the XvT battle for the Karana Initiative Phase 3 ASAP!

GoP - Gamma on patrole
Every week in my WSR I will announce a TIE Free mission or battle. All Gamma members (including me) then have until next weeks saturday 10:00 CEST (08:00 am UTC) to send me their pilot files for that mission/battle. Scoring will be laserless, as usuall for TIE comps. Best laserless score will be awarded an IS-BW. The participants each week will accumulate points according to their ranking. 1st will get 4 pts, 2nd 3 pts, 3rd 2pts and any other participant will get 1 point. The one with the most points at the end of the month will earn himself a shiny IS-SW, while the second at the end of the month will receive an IS-BW.

The one with most points at the end of the month wins an IS-BW and the title of "Gamma pilot of the month" for that month. The one with most points at the end of the year receives an IS-SW and the title "Gamma pilot of the year" for that year. Second at the end of the year receives an IS-BW.

Gamma becomes educated
Each week in my WSR I will choose a single IU course. Every Gamma member then has until 10:00 CEST (08:00 am UTC) next saturday to finish that course. SQUADRON ORDERS
1.) Report about activity before I release next weekly squadron report (approximately next Saturday around 10:00 UTC/GMT). Even if you did nothing you should still report and say that you did nothing.
2.) Keep activity on good level (IU/IWATS, flying or anything you can do). This club is about activity and fun, not just boring hangaround.
3.) Participate in Competitions! Those are designed and run to give YOU something to have fun with.

FINAL WORDS
With Dante joining the Gamma becomes educated competition we have 3 regularly participating pilot in each of Gamma's competitions as it seams. Master took a short breack and hopefully will rejoin the activity next week! That shows me that what we needed here in Gamma was something to do to return to normal duty again. I hope I can keep you bussy in the future too :-)

respectfully submitted
