Greetings pilots of the Hammer!
Welcome to this weeks Hammer Ship Report. It's been an eventful week aboard ship with medals, discord activity, competitions and a change to our Squadron Commander line-up. As you may have seen CPT Xye has taken over as Beta Squadrons Commander, this was due to CPT Mantisa not returning from his LoA as expected last month. I hope wherever he is the good Captain will find his way back to us in due course, however as I mentioned in a mail to the ship earlier this week we do need an active lineup of commanders, therefore I am pleased to see CPT Xye take the hot seat. We wish him luck!
Those of you on Discord will have seen the #Day-of-our-TIE channel is now live at the bottom of the list of Hammer channels. It's a run-on/soap opera that has already had your COM in stitches so please check it out and take part, it's utterly hilarious!

Hammer Holiday Puzzle
To spread some holiday cheer for the Hammer, I feel a puzzle is in order! Pilots will compete for the best time with medals up for grabs for the top 6 fastest pilots. The puzzle featuring some festive ewoks can be found here https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=007c103a4a9f
Rules: Screenshots need to show the number of pieces from the bottom-left corner of the screen, the time shown in the middle, and the completed puzzle. Working through the puzzle multiple times and using all the options available in the app are allowed, except one: Don't change the number of pieces from 70.
When you're satisfied with your time, take a screenshot and send it to theblackxranger@gmail.com. One entry per pilot, multiple submissions will not be accepted and only the first submission will be counted.

Hammer Tour of Duty
Season Two of the Hammer Tour of Duty has arrived, this competition sees all pilots assigned to the ISDII Hammer flying an assigned set of Battles during a 4 week period before we tally up and move to the next round.
The target being to fly XWA-TC 21 to XWA-TC 40, all available from the Battle Centre by the end of the year.
== Points ==
Completing a battle: 4 points
>70% battle laser accuracy: +1 point
>85% battle laser accuracy: +2 points
>50% of the battle high score: +1 point
>75% of the battle high score: +2 points
Writing a review of 20+ words for a completed battle: +1 point
Note: Completing a battle with 0 lasers fired will count as 100% accuracy.

3rd place pilot at the end of the tour: IS-BW
Top pilot each month: IS-SW

Every 30 points a pilot earns, they'll receive an IS-CW
Trivia for the Hammered - Christmas Special
Each week, 4 questions will be released via email. For each question, the quickest pilot to answer correctly receives 3 points, second quickest with the correct answer gets 2 points and all the pilots with a correct answer get 1 point.
We tally up at the end of the week with the highest point total winning a IS-SR and the runner-up a IS-BR.
After 3 rounds we tally up for our Christmas Special winner who will receive a IS-GR, with the runner-up receiving a IS-SR, whilst third and fourth places receive a IS-BR.
Points earned on each question accrue and lead to IS-CRs being awarded for every multiple of 50 points.
Our initial round featured questions about the Holiday Special! Our winner this round was CPT Xye, with MAJ Aldaric our runner up. Well done!
