| Welcome to a first in-a-long-time report from my other,
sometimes not-so-known portfolio, that of the Recon Officer. What
does the Recon Officer do primarily? Previously the Recon Officer's
portfolio consisted of networking with other clubs. That's something
that we still do, but due to the evolution of several systems since
the early 2000s, the Recon Officer role also got a refit with my
proposal to the Fleet Commander to incorporate social media and
streaming technologies into the portfolio. A lot of the work done is sometimes done behind the scenes and in partnership with other members of the Emperor's Hammer in overlapping roles.
