Raise the Flag is here!

As I am sure you are all aware, the Fleet's premier competition, Raise the Flag (RtF) launche on 1 Oct, anfd and already there has been a flurry of activity across both the Ship and the wider Fleet. Full details on the competition are located at  http://rtf.tsaunders.net/ including rules and current Ship, Squadron and Pilot standings. At the time of writing, the Ship scores are:

1. Challenge - 5455
2. Warrior - 3400
3. Hammer - 3130

As you can see, the Challenge leads by some margin but remember - this is a marathon, not a sprint! The competition runs for the duration of October so there is plenty of opportunity to participate and contribute. And remember - any level of contribution is welcome, even if it's the odd mission, or MP match, it all helps! More on RtF in a separate email.            

There are currently two bonus competitions running within RtF where you can earn extra points. The TCCOM has sent out the details, but in brief:    

1. Fiction - ending on 9 Oct
2. Star Conflict PvP - ending on 12 Oct

• It seems RtF is dominating both Fleet news and activity
• The TCCOM's Grand Trivia Tour continues into it's 10th week. Congratulations to our own GN Pickled Yoda for taking the top spot in Week 9. The link for Week 10: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/timetest.php?testid=461093
• SinCMDR, Capt Wreckage's Find the Difference competition has concluded after nine weeks of staring at SW images - massive congrats to Wreckage on running a successful competition series, and hopefully we see a return in the not-so-distant future.          

• Promotions: Congratulations to the following on their promotions:
• Lt FamePlane, Rho, to Lieutenant Commander
• SL LIMiNAMO, Kapp, to Lieutenant
• SL Purpletiger_z, Kappa, to Lieutenant  


• Medals: Merit awards are starting to come in following September's MSE results - I will cover all of these in next week's report.   


• BSFs: I just wanted to highlight that since the start of RtF, I have something in the region of 95 processed BSFs - this is fantastic and credit to those pilots (Yoda!) who have been smashing out the battles.

Here’s some fleet-wide competitions currently going on:

Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals.

Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. The top pilot at the end of the year also receives the title of SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021.

A somewhat brief report, if only because RtF is dominating most of our time. My intent is to send out a separate email in the next 24 hrs with a bit more detail just to the Ship, sharing some ideas and tips. In the meantime, please participate where you can and flag any issues to your CoC.
