A big congratulations to those that received merit medals for August: LCM Shang Khan brought home a PC, GN Dunta Polo rated an ISM and MAJ Aardvark, a SS. We were also saddened by the departure of two pilots: LT Primellis Exalta and CPT Victor O'Brien. Duties elsewhere required that they were taken off of flight status and reassigned to the M/FRG Phoenix under the command of MAJ Sparky. We hope that one day, they are able to return to active duty. This leaves eight active pilots and four vacancies in Kappa Squadron. I am pleased to report that half of the remaining pilots have already scored combat victories this month! Keep up the good work, Kappa! I remind you that there is also a Squadron level comp running, 'Retro Games'. Look for details below in the Competition section.
