LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
The SPL (Squadrons 5v5 Dogfight League) Season #2 is now finished! We ended up in 7th place overall and gives us a platform to build on. If you are interested to be part of Season #3, reach out to me (Genie) whether as a sparring (practice) partner or as part of the actual SPL team. Reminder, the teams we face in this competition are the best dogfighters in Squadrons. I will be setting a regular training 2-3 hours, one day per week, whereby we will work on our team tactics and personal skills. Shoutout to 'Can't shoot me' Frozen, 'Treble Reaper' Xye, 'Battering Ram' Witcher, 'Boogeyman' Taygetta, 'Fireworks' Wreckage and 'Battering Ram Fireworks, just mind those rocks' Hijacker.
Since the 1st August, the Emperor's Hammer has been test-piloting a new currency system. Yes, that's right! We are getting paid! Six squadrons (two from each ship) have been coer... volunteered to test it out. Hammer Competitions:
- Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?
- Hammer Crew Compendium: The Hammer is more than just its pilots, we have a Star Destroyer to flesh out. Over the next 6 weeks you can come up with characters for our mighty ship.
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Seven. Check the current week's URL link through Plif's email or the discord announcement.
- Crossword Puzzle, be sure to email a screenshot of your answers to Solohan (solohan50@gmail.com).
- Guess the Pilot: Five uniforms will be released every week. Can you guess the pilots correctly just by looking at their uniform? Week #7 ends on Monday, 23rd August.
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Lambda Squadron'.
