Turn 25 & 26 have been completed, and we're now within touching distance of the final turns as we are due to end on Turn 30 of this game. Whilst Turn 26 saw very little by way of action, just lots of fleets consolidating holds on systems and moving around, Turn 25 saw a the Challenge and Hammer fighting it out over THREE different star systems which saw close to 1000 legions earned during the three day combat window. At Cattamascar where the Hammer was outnumbered 2:1 the forces of the Hammer saw total defeat, losing the STRKC Ragnarok and a MIS squadron, whilst the Challenge saw significant damage to one of their frontline squadrons. Likewise as Panatha where the ratio was more 2:1.5 the Hammer lost ISD Deathskull and a MIS squadron, whilst the Challenge lost a GUN squadron in the assault along with other damage reported. Finally as Bukundi, the Hammer tasted victory with damage to a squadron being the price for the destruction of a Challenge fighter squadron and the driving off of the capital ship element of the Challenge force. |
