ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #29

REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik
DATE SUBMITTED: August 16 2021

FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE

Hello all! Well, it was a quiet week and it doesn't look like I missed much during my trip, for which I am thankful. Not much to report on the Warrior, which isn't exactly a bad thing.

Looks like Sigma had a lot of fun doing some Squadrons earlier this week!

Looks like all our shinies have come down, minus Rho's which they're still working on because CM Frhozen got about 40 beers deep in Vegas. Amateur. I even got mine today.

I have attached the latest installment of the Riddles of the Jawaardvark for your riddling pleasure. This is actually the last one I have, and truthfully participation has been dwindling a bit. I may try to come up with something new in the future if I don't decide to continue it.

Let's stay vigilant for the remaining 5 turns of Imperial Storm!

WARRIOR ROSTER
  • The roster currently stands at 54 members. Please welcome LT Spoon and SL Exose (soon to be LT!), both of Sigma, to the Warrior!
  • Congratulations to LT Brent Hebris, CM Rachel Drakon, and MAJ Coremy Jertese on their promotions!
  • FLEET NEWS
    • Make sure you catch episode 10 of The TIE Pilot Podcast at this link, where GN Doyon and I host a very successful pop-up episode! Episode 11 soon!
    • Project Sovereign has progressed to Phase II, with Sin and Rho acting as the test squadrons aboard the Warrior so far. CM Wreckage is already getting his squadron drunk.
    • Imperial Storm 3 is live!
    • Raise the Flag has been suggested as being postponed to let people take a breath after Imperial Storm.
    SHIP NEWS
    • I have had a couple of people reach out to me about being long-term interested in a CMDR spot. I want to encourage anyone who's interested, even if you've been a CMDR before, to reach out to me so we can begin the learning process. It will be my privilege to train you.
    • FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. And let's stay vigilant! Truthfully, not much to report this week!
    SHIP COMPETITIONS

  • Riddles of the Aardvark

Like every Jawa Aardvark, LT WarperJawa MAJ Aardvark of Sin Kappa speaks in riddles and virtually impossible to understand Galactic Basic. As a translation tool, he has provided the Commodore with a series of riddles and puzzles to be included in every ISD Warrior report.

Unfortunately, the Commodore is far, far too dumb to figure them out and needs the help of the pilots of Wing II to sort them out.

    ---

Every week, RA Zekk will include a new puzzle designed by LT WarperJawa MAJ Aardvark in the Warrior report. The first pilot of Wing II to return a fully correct puzzle to me will receive 5 points, the second will receive 4 points, and the third will receive 3 points. Every entry after that will receive 1 point. You will also receive 1 point for answering the weekly bonus question correctly, and an IS-CR for every 4 entries regardless of where you placed. These will be determined by the timestamp on the email you send.

Starting this week, you may also spend one point and receive a hint! You may do this as many times as you want, but you will always receive a minimum of 1 point no matter how many points you spend.

Naturally, neither myself nor LT WarperJawa MAJ Aardvark will be participating since we have the answers. ;)

This week's bonus question: What is the home planet of our glorious Emperor?

  • FLEET COMPETITIONS

Here’s some fleet-wide competitions currently going on:

  • SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021

  • Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals.

Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. The top pilot at the end of the year also receives the title of SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021.

  • Guess the Uniform!

Every week you will be presented with five uniforms. You have to guess to which pilot that uniform belongs to. +1 point per correct answer. Score ties are settled by the time it took to solve it (shortest time being best). Be warned the questions will get progressively more difficult!

  • Imperial Storm III

Imperial Storm is a turn based war-game that pits all three Battlegroups against the others over a map of the planetary systems that we are currently near.

The teams will do battle against each other for control of the map, earning points for holding systems and attempting to deprive the enemy of their own.

Battles are fought using a scoring system that takes into account all Legion (LoC/LoS) earned during the combat window, alongside the average scores of a teams top 4 SP pilots.

Full rules can be found here: http://www.isdhammer.org/ImperialStorm_III.pdf

The winning Team at the end of the 30 turn game will see all participating pilots earn a TIE Corps Meritorious Unit Award (MUA).

The top 6 scorers in each of the 3 streams (top LoC count, top LoS count, top HS% SP count) will earn Iron Stars as below:

    1st: IS-GW

    2nd: IS-SW

    3rd: IS-SW

    4th: IS-BW

    5th: IS-BW

    6th: IS-BW

  • COMMODORE'S ACTIVITY
  • Having a COMversation with the other COMs.
  • Had an enlightening and long talk with CM Frhozen earlier this week.
  • Yeah I didn't really do much. :)
  • CLOSING COMMENTS

Not even gonna lie to you guys, I kinda half-assed this report. I'm tired, so sue me. Until next time, the only way forward is THROUGH!
