LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
The SFL (3v3 Dogfight) is heating up. Just last week, there was an EH vs EH game, Humpties vs Stormknights. Despite Frozen's starfighter malfuctioning (suspected sabotage), denying him the ability to fire his lasers, the Humpties managed to beat the Stormknights putting themselves in the top of the leaderboard, while Stormknights are holding onto 2nd position, making it an EH 1-2! There are two more rounds to go!
Since the 1st August, the Emperor's Hammer has been test-piloting a new currency system. Yes, that's right! We are getting paid! Six squadrons (two from each ship) have been coer... volunteered to test it out. Be sure to check out the armoury under the Price List tab and then send an email to project_sovereign@googlegroups.com with your next purchase!
It's with great sadness that I announce, that LT Slade 'Christmas' Carroll has transferred to the Reserves, aboard the M/FRG Phoenix. I hope he finds his way back to the fleet soon!

Following the heavy losses at battles 3 and 4, the Challenge and the Warrior shared the majority of the map between them. The Warrior inexplicably allowed the Challenge to build up a commanding lead.. unchallenged up until turn 17.

- Hammer Crew Compendium: The Hammer is more than just its pilots, we have a Star Destroyer to flesh out. Over the next 6 weeks you can come up with characters for our mighty ship.

CLOSING COMMENTS
It was a quiet week for most of the Squadron. Personally I am catching my breath and preparing to continue my work on the custom TIE Fighter battles I have been making. I haven't touched them in months, so that will be a bit of hard restart. If anyone is interested in play-testing them or being one of the voices, let me know.
