LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
Last week the Emperor's Hammer Midnight Butchers scored two 3-0 victories over TRA and NRN respectively, as part of the SPL League (5v5 Dogfight). Furthermore, the StormKnights and the Humpty Dance Palace are vying for the top two spots in the SFL League (3v3 Dogfight). A great week for the Emperor's Hammer! Next weekend, be sure to join us and cheer for the PickleHorn Misfits, for Cadet Cup 3 (3v3 Fleet Battles).
Reminder of two fleet-wide competitions being run by Genie and Solohan respectively. Genie's Guess the Pilot by their Uniform, Week #4 is underway, while Solohan's crossword puzzle, the Battle of Yavin is running strong. Congratulations to the top three of Guess the Pilot Week #3, CM SkyShadow, RA Zekk Terrik and LCM TheBlackRanger. Currently, on the overall leaderboard, joined at the top with 15 points are CM Skyshadow, RA Zekk Terrik, CPT Aardvark and MAJ Taygetta!

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS
Current Lambda Squadron Competitions:
- Lambda Tour of Duty I: Battles from the compendium at a rate of 1 battle per two weeks (if not faster) will be fought by our fearless pilots.
- Guess the Pilot: Five uniforms will be released every week. Can you guess the pilots correctly just by looking at their uniform? Week #3 ends on Monday, 26th July.
- Crossword Puzzle, some of the questions are tricky!
Hammer Competitions:
- Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?
- Hammer Crew Compendium: The Hammer is more than just its pilots, we have a Star Destroyer to flesh out. Over the next 6 weeks you can come up with characters for our mighty ship.
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Six: Entering Week Twenty
- June COO Objective Scramble: Quad Damage: Form a team of four or five. Get as many combat victories (both LoC and LoS) as you can for that month!
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Lambda Squadron'.

- LT Relentless Streaming: Regular weekly streaming. Relentless does a good job of self-deprecating.

CLOSING COMMENTS
It is the first time there is an Imperial Storm and we (the Hammer) are not involved. A much needed break and a moment to catch our breath. I will soon include the backstories of Battles 3 and 4.
Last but not least, I made a quick modification to the report to be a max width of 760 pixels so that the banner at the top will fit into the mobile screens, as several people check their emails from their phones. I am working also on a refinement for how to show the activity (an idea I had a few weeks ago).
