LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
Imperial Storm continues. The Hammer pilots rised to the ... challenge, and managed to fight back the advances of the Warrior in a second consecutive battle, know as Bunduki's Last Bastion. In a dramatic fashion, the entire Warrior fleet was sunk. The victory though did not come cheap. We lost the Warspite, Inflexible, Hood, Punisher, Paradox and all of our Hammer squadrons. However, our flagship the Hammer, did survive as did the YT-1300 Ewok Tripod, which is rumoured to be piloted by an... Ewok.
Congratulations to Solohan for winning June's Lambda Tour of Duty I with 4 battles and 22 missions. Carrying out the work of the Emperor's Hammer and making Lambda Squadron proud! The storm bbrought an anomaly, Lambda typically has a total of 0 LoS, week in week out. This week, we boast over 400 LoS spread amongst the squad! I wonder why...
Reminder of two fleet-wide competitions being run by Genie and Solohan respectively. Genie's Guess the Pilot by their Uniform, Week #2 is underway Solohan's crossword puzzle, the Battle of Yavin. Congratulations to the top three of Guess the Pilot Week #1, VA Silwar, CM SKyshadow and LT TheBlackRanger. Will they keep onto their lead after week #2?
The TCiB Season #1 for 2021 has ended and we are all waiting with anticipation for the final results. Plif is like Santa, he waits for all of us to go to sleep before he publishes the results!

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS
Current Lambda Squadron Competitions:
- Lambda Tour of Duty I: Battles from the compendium at a rate of 1 battle per two weeks (if not faster) will be fought by our fearless pilots.
- Guess the Pilot: Five uniforms will be released every week. Can you guess the pilots correctly just by looking at their uniform? Week #2 ends on Monday, 19th July.
- Crossword Puzzle, some of the questions are tricky!
Hammer Competitions:
- Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Six: Entering Week Twenty
- June COO Objective Scramble: Quad Damage: Form a team of four or five. Get as many combat victories (both LoC and LoS) as you can for that month!
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Lambda Squadron'.

CLOSING COMMENTS
Imperial Storm is now on turn 8 moving to turn 9. The best part in these competitions is the competitiveness that comes out of all of us! All three ships are equally determined to win and it is still very early to call it.
