ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #25
REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik |
||
FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE
Hello folks! Well, we have a lot to address in this report. First off, we completed the Battle of Burgerking or whatever the hell that planet is called. As you may have read, we didn't win. Well, we did win, but that's a discussion for another time. I know many of us are discouraged by the result of the battle. I know I am. We are currently in discussions about how to further proceed with Imperial Storm. Actually, a lot of different possibilities are being discussed. Just hang in there with me for a little while longer. We have put a 36 hour hold on movements to discuss things. One thing I do want to address. To me, that battle was a win. I could not have been more proud of the efforts of each and every one of you that contributed. Twenty-five different Warriors contributed to our cause. Nine different Warriors flew the SP mission. On paper, we won this battle because of our superior teamwork. I had pilots from both the other ships DM me privately and tell me how bad they felt that we turned in the performance of a lifetime and we still got screwed. This was a better result and a better performance than I could have ever dreamed of. It's evident to me that the Warrior is ready for the major leagues now. Please continue to bear with me while we continue to discuss things. Let's move on. All squadrons have turned in their MSEs, and we are awaiting top brass approval, so hang in there with me for that as well. I have attached a new Riddles of the Jawa sheet...or...should I say...Riddles of the Aardvark? They were sent to me courtesy of CPT Aardvark to keep the competition going a little longer after LT Warper Jawa went to the Reserves. Don't forget the bonus question below!

SHIP COMPETITIONS | ||
Like every Jawa, LT WarperJawa of Sin speaks in riddles and virtually impossible to understand Galactic Basic. As a translation tool, he has provided the Commodore with a series of riddles and puzzles to be included in every ISD Warrior report. Unfortunately, the Commodore is far, far too dumb to figure them out and needs the help of the pilots of Wing II to sort them out. --- Every week, RA Zekk will include a new puzzle designed by LT WarperJawa in the Warrior report. The first pilot of Wing II to return a fully correct puzzle to me will receive 5 points, the second will receive 4 points, and the third will receive 3 points. Every entry after that will receive 1 point. You will also receive 1 point for answering the weekly bonus question correctly, and an IS-CR for every 4 entries regardless of where you placed. These will be determined by the timestamp on the email you send. Starting this week, you may also spend one point and receive a hint! You may do this as many times as you want, but you will always receive a minimum of 1 point no matter how many points you spend. Naturally, neither myself nor LT WarperJawa will be participating since we have the answers. ;) This week's bonus question: Who REALLY won the Battle of Burgerking? |

FLEET COMPETITIONS | ||
Here’s some fleet-wide competitions currently going on:
Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals. Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. The top pilot at the end of the year also receives the title of SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021. Every week you will be presented with five uniforms. You have to guess to which pilot that uniform belongs to. +1 point per correct answer. Score ties are settled by the time it took to solve it (shortest time being best). Be warned the questions will get progressively more difficult! Imperial Storm is a turn based war-game that pits all three Battlegroups against the others over a map of the planetary systems that we are currently near. The teams will do battle against each other for control of the map, earning points for holding systems and attempting to deprive the enemy of their own. Battles are fought using a scoring system that takes into account all Legion (LoC/LoS) earned during the combat window, alongside the average scores of a teams top 4 SP pilots. Full rules can be found here: http://www.isdhammer.org/ImperialStorm_III.pdf The winning Team at the end of the 30 turn game will see all participating pilots earn a TIE Corps Meritorious Unit Award (MUA). The top 6 scorers in each of the 3 streams (top LoC count, top LoS count, top HS% SP count) will earn Iron Stars as below: 1st: IS-GW 2nd: IS-SW 3rd: IS-SW 4th: IS-BW 5th: IS-BW 6th: IS-BW Sigma Squadron has been brought back from the dusty corner of a disused hanger aboard the Warrior. To go along with our shiny new Bombers and Interceptors, we require a new patch! FA Turtle Jerrar has kindly done an updated high-res patch so we aren't flying around with paint flakes falling off. The only stipulation in place is that the patch be predominantly made up of purple and gold, to honor the history of Sigma Squadron. If you are stuck for ideas of a starting platform, please do not hesitate to contact me, as I have a draft patch drawn up. Good luck to all and thanks in advance!
