Earlier this evening Kammia Holonews reporters broke the story of Imperial ships entering the system, we can now confirm that these vessels belong to Team Challenge and have arrived to wrest control of the Kammia System from our current Imperial overlords, Team Hammer. Due to reporting restrictions I am unable to go into details on which vessels have been sighted but rest assured we will bring you further details as the Battle for Kammia progresses. |

We continue to motor along with the orders for Turn 6 being processed. This has however thrown up our first BATTLE! Elements of Team Challenge have entered the Kammia system which recently fell to the Hammer, meaning we will be pausing the game for THREE days to fight out our first battle. What does this mean practically? Well it means that starting tonight at 00:01 GMT we will begin counting all Legions earned by pilots aboard both ships, with a final count being done three days later at 23:59 GMT on Sunday. This will be used as an input into the scoring mechanism, but in short.. more is better, a lot better. To keep our Single Player fans happy, we will also be catering to them - you have the same timeframe to fly TIE FREE-137 (The Baker's Dozen). We'll take the top 4 scores per side as a percentage of the existing High Score of 75,714 set by CM Karce, again the higher the score the better but given we take the top 4 scores anything is better than 0! Unfortunately this does mean Team Warrior will be sitting this one out, but no doubt they will sit on the sidelines and cheer / heckle / lob beer cans at appropriate moments. |
