LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
A reminder that our Hammer Security Datasystem is fully operational. I actually forgot to link it in the previous report... I do want to say 'thank you' to Silwar, as in my journey to rediscover CSS, he gave me a helping hand when it all started. If you are aboard the Hammer and your pilot entry is missing, reach out to Genie (on discord or via email). Our new system lists all our pilots as well as some history about our squads and more information on some of the crew comprising the ISD II Hammer. All done using CSS eye-candy. This was an idea that started by our Commodore, RA Phoenix Berkana.
Stop the press! Big welcome to SL Konig who joined Lambda just in time as this report was cooking! Congratulations to CPT Highlander for his promotion to Captain and for his contributions to Lambda Squadron this past year and to LC Genie for making it to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Meanwhile, congratulations to Genie, Xye and the RedBaron for achieving a new combat rating. Furthermore, Wookiee, Howler and RedBaron have improved on their Echelon Wings! For more details, be sure to check out the Squadron Activity corner in our report. Last but not least, in the single player front, Solohan is leading Lambda's Tour of Duty competition. Serving as our single player specialist, there simply isn't anyone to stop him!
The clouds are gathering, the Imperial Storm is coming and with it, two months of battling out between our three ships. This is the definitive ship competition of the year (similarly to the Squadron Remob being the biggest squadron competition). For the first time, it will be a three-way battle. This military exercise is essential for keeping our forces in top notch condition.
As if that wasn't enough, Week of War Season #2 is fast approaching. Starting on 2nd July. To be eligible, ensure you have an active pilot account (use the same name as your EH TC pilot) when registering on battlestats and that you are assigned to the Emperor's Hammer.
EH also currently participates in three competitions. Cadet Cup League with two and a half teams: Storm Knights, PickleHords and Misfits. Starcross Fighter League with Storm Knights and the Humpty Dance Palace. Finally, the Squadrons Premier League with one team, the Midnight Butchers. Even more competitions are in the works.
You get a competition! And you get a competition! And you get a competition! I am happy to announce a new fleet-wide competition. Can you guess the pilot from their uniform? Some will be easy, some will be hard and it will be timed. So, you'll have to be both right and fast! The first entries will be released on the 5th July and every week you will have 5 new uniforms to guess to whom they belong to.

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS
Current Lambda Squadron Competitions:
- Lambda Tour of Duty I: Battles from the compendium at a rate of 1 battle per two weeks (if not faster) will be fought by our fearless pilots.
- Guess the Pilot: Five uniforms will be released every week. Can you guess the pilots correctly just by looking at their uniform?
Hammer Competitions:
- Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Six: Entering Week Eighteen
- June COO Objective Scramble: Quad Damage: Form a team of four or five. Get as many combat victories (both LoC and LoS) as you can for that month!
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Lambda Squadron'.
