There have been many leadership changes in the TIE Corps lately. HA Dempsey has chosen to step down by the end of the month, and TCCS is taking applications from anyone with at least 8 months of CMDR, WC, or COM experience. Sigma Squadron is opening on the Warrior, led by MAJ acetiepilot; his command spot for Rho will be filled once RA Terrik has made his decision.
Flights 2 and 3 have upgraded from Missile Boats to the advanced, Emperor's Hammer-developed Spectre Missile Boat. It has an increased laser recharge system as well as a second cannon. LC Sturm thinks it looks like a 'frightened, wet chicken', but I'm sure he'll appreciate the extra firepower all the same.
Tempest Raid Nights has come to a successful close with hundreds of LoCs and LoSs earned. Congratulations to LCM Morgoth and LCM Honsou, who took first and second place.
Imperial Storm is nearly upon us. It is the next fleet-wide competition, where each ship tries to take and hold territory in a simulated galaxy map. Battles are resolved by flying a single free mission and earning as many Legions as possible during an open two- day period. I am acting as Team Captain and will lead our battlegroup to assured victory. Rules and dates will be announced soon.
CM Iam Thinking was promoted this month. Congratulations, commander!
In Tempest King of the Mountain, GN Silwar and LCM Honsou will fight for the top of the losers' bracket; the winner of that match will go on to fight the undefeated LCM Wreckage for the championship.
