Col Horus Blackheart sat at his desk which was clustered with data pads ranging from pilot evaluations to fuel economy projections. Everything was about metrics these days, the bean counters had a tight grip on everything now days, the Vet had been told many times by pound upstarts that he was “not in tune with the emotional needs of the modern corps.” The Col mused about the state of things these reports were never ending He remembered when the priority used to be about dispatching the enemy, Was glory and honor an archaic concept now? On the bright side Horus new he had the makings of a fine Squadron, granted it was not the eagle of old. He was confident the dip in activity was temporary, They had just got a new recruit that the COL had scouted personalty He had high hopes for shadow Night hunter. I mentioned this unofficially on discord But I would like to officially welcome Shadow Night hunter to Eagle Squadron. If you need anything please let my self and XO Graf know. I’m sure everyone here will help you getting up to speed. LT Cupcake has shown interest in the classic sims, this is something I would like to see more of. If there is enough interest I will start running old school matches in addition to the SWS side of things. Over all activity has started to pick up which is good to see. The MSE has been submitted for approvals so expect well erred shinnies soon.

Closing thoughts
Activity has been more consistent this week which I appreciate. We also have Another big event coming up soon So I’d like to start hosting more training nights to get people used to flying together if nothing else.
