Another month comes to a close, remember you have until 11:59 PM GMT to make your submissions for our competitions. A start of month report will be issued tomorrow to outline results as well as new competition instructions. Squadron Commanders, please ensure to have your Monthly Squadron Evaluations out and ready in a timely manner. Once your MSEs are complete, alert your COM, who will in turn advise me when it is time for my comments. The Squadrons Week of War ends on 6 June 2021! We appear to be in third place as a club, locked in a struggle with CTx and TRA!  Speaking of competitions, I must punctuate upon something that has stemmed from recent events that the TCCOM has outlined in his report on 10 May and outlined again in #polls-and-announcements on the Discord. Screenshots/pilot files are expected to be submitted in a timely manner. As we have competitions based upon mission completions for the month, it is not sporting to drop a large mass of files right before the cutoff, nor to submit files from a previous month. The expected time to completion is no greater than 72 hours. If there is a situation to where this may be an issue, reach out to the competition manager so that there can be a discussion about this. This has been entered into the Pilot Manual per the TCCOM's advisory to me. As for pilots in the line, where COO competitions are concerned if for some reason you cannot meet the 72 hour deadline, we will accept match reports on your behalf from a party going up the chain of command, provided that you provide the reporting party with the screenshots and that they qualify of course: For a Flight Member: Your Flight Leader, Squadron XO (if applicable), Squadron Commander, Commodore and Combat Operations Office staff For a Flight Leader: Squadron XO (if applicable), Squadron Commander, Commodore & Combat Operations Office staff For a Squadron Commander: Squadron XO (if applicable), Commodore & Combat Operations Office staff For a Commodore: Commodore (from another ship), Combat Operations Office staff For a Combat Operations Office staff member that holds a line position: Another COOA, the COO or a member of your line chain of command. For the COO: A COOA or another member of the TIE Corps Command Staff For the TCCS: Another member of the TCCS or Combat Operations Office staff At this stage with this notice given, pilots that do not follow these guidelines here on out when participating in COO driven competitions will be disqualified for the month and notice will be given to the pilot's chain of command. Further violations will be discussed among Combat Operations Office staff and other relevant parties for handling. |
